Subject: litter training

Hi my bun ,Oreo, is probaly 8-9 weeks old and I have had him in a big cage that has wire bottom that the poop can drop through Just the other day I put a litter box in there with some shaving,in the corner that he likes to pee in,but he won't use it I tried putting the hay in there and then found some poop but no pee. He likes to sleep in the box. I covered all the corrner so he wouldn't go in them but he find other spots to go in. Any ideas on with this problem? And when would he be to old to start trying to litter train again. Thank you
