AAF is not a pageant where the winners are based on who spent the most money. Having a big "name" does not matter, nor how much your dress cost. The contestant with the greatest natural beauty, poise, personality, character & sincerity will be the one who gets the most points. If she models great, that helps. If she looks great in her dress that helps. But you can't buy a win by having the most expensive clothes & photos. You have to earn it yourself. -- ORIGINAL PMS BOARD

- They judge modeling & talent based on age of the contestant. No modeling score for beauty. Beauty is based on interview, facial beauty & fashion. Clothes are judged on fit, age appropriateness & how well they compliment the person So if a young child had a great personality in her interview, strong facial beauty & looked great in her dress she MIGHT beat an older girl who modeled nice but didn't do well on the interview. There are 2 modeling events which DO score for modeling but there are other events which do not. (NT) -- Winner might not be the 1 w/ the best pro-am, but the best "all around" pkg w/ high scores in other categories. Could be someone w/ great clothes & pro-am or someone gorgeous w/ personality & talents, 20:51:30 08/05/02 Mon
