Author: Sorry to burst your bubble, to borrow a phrase, but if there's any fault, it lies with the ones who broke the rules, even if they did it unintentionally.
Subject: Let me get this straight. There were very specific rules to the pageant, someone broke them (perhaps unintentionally even) and was disqualified from one event. LC was NOT the only one who noticed, and even if she said something to her roommate, her roommate was not the director. Hotel walls ARE thin, that's how I know LC didn't say a word to the director.
In reply to: ............................. 's message, "Sorry to burst your bubble but we heard her and her roommate talking about it and saying they need to involve the Director. Just remember walls in hotels are extremely thin. I don't know why they would want to hurt the young lady and her mom. They have never did anything to either of them. Guess it is a cut throat way of the world." on 23:51:44 08/26/02 Mon

  • Several times people have bashed others recently claiming that they "heard it through the walls of the hotel". Is ANYBODY buying this garbage? I have stayed in dozens of hotels and unless people were shouting I've certainly never been able to overhear a conversation next door word for word. Of course, I don't have my ear to the wall either. But get real. This is clearly made-up gossip and so pathetically weak it should not even be taken seriously (NT) -- quit the lying about hearing people through walls.
