This all sadden's me deaply~ the last time we did a pageant was in October, for some of you who may not be aware Meagan was diagnosed with Lymphoma at the beginning of this year. I cannot believe the turn that pageants has taken and the bashing and the bitterness. I read these post about once every 2 weeks sometimes longer because in my free time I am spending every spare minute with my daughter the only child that I have for the time being...the daughter that I watched going through a tough surgery on February 25 and the same daughter that I had to sit down and tell on February 28 "baby you have cancer" and she knows that cancer causes people to die because she remembered her great grandmother passing from cancer and the fear that came over her face and the look of uncertainty she had in her eyes....the question that a mom couldn't answer "WHY MOMMA" and in the weeks to follow she went through this bone scane this cat scan this EKG taking this blood for this and this blood for that.....you moms think it is hard to here your child being called out for 1st 2nd or 3rd runner up and you look at the score sheet and try to figure out what went wrong.. you spent so much time working on her modeling, getting the perfect dress or sportswear, getting the perfect pics. try sitting in a conference room with Doctors and they look you dead in your face and say your child has cancer, and you don't get score sheets ladies you get a prodical of medicines that are going to go into your childs little body that cause hair loss, weight loss, her bones to ache, her stomach to cramp, constipation, skin discoloration, irritaation of her nerves one minute she is laughing one minute she is crying, heart damage, nausea, vomiting,mouth sores, fever aches and pains, you then say what went wrong were did I go wrong why is God doing this to a sweet innocent baby, my only baby.
and then you see your daughter go from having long beautiful red hair and then she comes walking up to you with a hand full of her hair, asking me if she is going to die and within 4 days she is completly bald she tells me over and over how ugly she is. she can no longer be a child and go to school she has to stay in away from the outside world so she wont catch anything, you watch your child throw up over and over and her little body becomes week and limp and there is absolutly nothing you can do but pray her through it and wonder if God is really hearing your prayers.
this is just a small example of what life has been like for Meagan Sewell.
PLEASE I am begging all of you to listen very closely~~~ within a matter of days, hours, minutes, even seconds something like this can happen to one of your babies, I hope and pray it never does, Please always speak BLESSINGS on these beautiful children your tongue is very powerful, if someone curses you or your child pray blessings on them and there children. we only get one chance with our children they are our heritage from God and if God can't trust us with them and if we do not train them up right he can take them from us.
