“Live for the Moment” plays over the speakers as Matt Hardy Version 1, accompanied by Test, makes his way down the ramp and to the ring for this KOTR semi-finals match, holding the V1 sign above his head proudly.











"Die MF Die" answers Hardy, sending out AJ Styles, fresh from his win over the defending King in the first round. Styles goes down the ramp and takes a breath, running and sliding in the bottom rope and facing down Test and Hardy


The Sensei of Mattitude gets right in Styles' face, holding the V1 sign above his head, throwing it right in his face! Styles has had enough of prematch celebrations and punches Matt square in his face, sending him back against the ropes. Test then goes to charge forward, but the referee gets between him and Styles, ordering him to the outside! Test huffs and puffs, and then finally leaves the ring and climbs to the outside.

AJ snaps Matt off of the ropes and sends him across the ring. He waits him along and goes high in the air with a dropkick aimed at his chin! Hardy takes the dropkick and falls to his back, and then rebounds right back up and stumbles into a corner. AJ sees him and gets a running start. He goes airborne and delivers a double-footed baseball slide to his face, snapping his head back in the corner!

V1 takes the kick and his entire body convulses! His legs kick the mat wildly as he rolls out of the corner, and then uses the middle ropes to lean up, and the camera does a close-up on his face, and his newly bloodied up broken nose! AJ sees him bent over and comes rushing up from behind, he goes in the air and gives a HARD Shining black kick to the back of Matt's head! The kick is so hard that it sends Matt flailing through the middle ropes and to the floor!

Test hurries over, aiding the bloodied up Hardy to his feet, holding him up there as Matt's eyes are rolled into the back of his head, knocked loopy! Styles backs up, spinning around and getting the crowd amped. He then races facing Test and Matt and goes flying over the top rope with a spinning plancha, crashing into both men! Hardy had moved over to the side, allowing Test to take the brunt of the blow! As soon as Styles gets back up to his feet, Hardy rushes him from behind, sending him flying into the ring post!

AJ falls directly into it, cracking his skull on the post and slumping to the floor. Hardy stumbles over to him, pulling him up and rolls him into the ring. Hardy then slowly climbs up to the top rope, takes the time to set his feet, hold the V1 sign up above his head, "OOOOOOOOOH", and then he flies off with a high times guillotine leg drop! Styles body flops and clenches up from the leg drop, coughing as he gets the brunt of it. Hardy rubs his leg before crawling over Styles, hooking his for a two count!

AJ pops his arm out at the 2 count and coughs twice, wiping his nose off before trying to move away. Hardy now pulls him up to his feet, meeting him with a few right hands and then a chop across the chest. He leans him against the ropes and goes to fire him across, but Styles reverses and pulls Matt into a knee to the mid section! AJ then double under-hooks his arms, attempting to set up for the Styles Clash, but Test hops onto the apron, distracting him.

Styles releases Hardy and rushes Test, going for a forearm shot, but Test catches his head and drops down off the apron, jacking AJ throat first across the top rope! Styles then goes back bumping into a final cut, jamming him into the mat! However, rather then drop down and make the count, the ref EJECTS Test from ringside!!

The crowd pops as Test throws a fit, but his fit is nothing compared to Hardy's once he realizes what just happened! Hardy goes over to AJ in the corner and gets a punch to the gut for his troubles. Styles sends him up with a few more shots and then Irish whips him. AJ then keeps his arm, yanking him right back into a gutwrench spin. Matt keeps his wits and goes with the spin, right before crashing to the canvas, hooks Styles head and drops to his feet, using the momentum and going directly into a Twist of Fate that JACKS AJ into the mat, bouncing him off the canvas with the force and over onto his back.

Hardy sits on his ass, tasting his own blood and shakes his head out, rolling over onto AJ for the pin, but Styles' foot is draped across the bottom rope. Matt pulls himself up and heads back out onto the apron, climbing up to the top rope, getting ready for another guillotine, but this time AJ shakes the ropes, crotching Hardy up top!

AJ now pulls himself up, making his way over to the corner and climbs up it, setting Hardy up for a superplex! However, Matt begins to battle back, throwing right hands to his mid section, breaking it up. Hardy then hooks Styles, and then out of nowhere, takes him from the top rope and DEEP into the mat with a Side Effect to a HUGE pop from the crowd!!

Styles lands on his ass and bounces back up into the air, landing on his stomach and not moving at all! V1 rolls away from Styles and lays flat down on his stomach, rubbing his thigh before crawling over, finally covering Styles and pulls up on the leg for the one, two, TWO! The crowd goes WILD as Styles kicks out, and Hardy can't believe it!

Matt looks into the ref’s eyes in complete shock, and then covers AJ again for another two count! Matt now hooks both legs, but Styles kicks out AGAIN! V1 has now completely lost it, shoving the ref to his ass and stomps up and down on the mat, pulling at his hair and spitting blood out of his mouth! He kicks the bottom ropes furiously, and a few moments later, the crowd begins to cheer as the leggy Stacy Keibler makes her way down the ramp and to the ring!













Stacy arrives at ringside and walks up the ring steps and onto the apron, looking in at Matt and points over to Styles, telling Matt to get his head back into this and to get to work! Hardy looks at her cross eyed and reaches over the ropes, grabbing a fist full of her hair and begins to degrade her in front of everyone, telling her to shut up and fall in line!

Stacy is able to talk some sense into Matt, and he finally releases her, holding his hands up in front of him apologetically. She then points over at Styles once more, telling Matt to finish him off! Hardy nods his head and moves over towards his opponent, pulling him up to his feet and hooks his head. He looks back over to Stacy, giving her a thumbs up, and then spins around, going for another Twist of Fate! AJ drops down to his knees before Matt goes into his full revolution, then yanks him back by his pants! The ref drops into position as Styles gets a handful of Hardy's pockets and holds on for dear life as the official counts the surprising one, two, and THREE count, eliminating Version 1 from the tournament!!


"Die MF Die" blasts over the speakers as the fans go INSANE! Styles looks around and then rolls under the bottom rope and to the floor, laying there for a few moments trying to collect himself.

Back in the ring, Hardy sits up with his eyes wide, immediately shooting a glare over at Stacy who stands on the apron in shock, with her jaw dropped nearly to the floor!
