The crowd boos as Eddie Guerrero rides down the ramp in a custom low rider, parking it at ringside and enters the ring, all business tonight in this King of the Ring Qualifier against long time friend and foe, Chris Benoit.










“Whatever” then blasts over the speakers as Chris Benoit comes marching down the ramp, sliding directly into the ring and goes to war with Guerrero!


Eddie connects with a right hand, and Benoit retaliates with a scintillating chop across the chest! Eddie winces and fires a fist of his own, but Benoit counters with another chop, and then another. He goes to fire him across but Eddie reverses, and Benoit comes roaring in off the ropes with a running double forearm shot to the chest, flooring Guerrero! Eddie hits the mat and rebounds back up to his feet, and Chris fires him across, dropping to the mat and lets him run over. On the return, Benoit goes for a sidewalk slam, but Guerrero counters it into a flipping head scissors! Chris hits the mat and rebounds to his feet, falling into the ropes. Eddie then charges in, but Benoit ducks, taking him over with a HIGH back body drop OVER the top rope and to the floor!

The crowd then pops as Benoit takes a running start, flying through the middle ropes with a cross body block, but Eddie ducks out of the way and Benoit goes right into the barricade! Eddie now takes control, putting the boots to Benoit before pulling him up and ramming his head onto the apron, and then rolls him into the ring. Eddie climbs onto the apron and springs himself in with a rolling senton, covering for a close two count before Benoit can roll his shoulder free.

Eddie goes to his feet and rubs his foot across Benoit’s face. Chris jots around on the mat, and Eddie comes off the ropes, drilling him with a baseball slide to the ribs and sends Chris rolling to the outside! As soon as Benoit pulls himself up, Eddie springs over the ropes, and right into a LOUD chop across the chest! The crowd then pops as Chris shoves him into the barrier and goes off with chops, cutting Eddie’s chest right open!

Guerrero rolls back into the ring, trying to create some space, but Benoit is right on him. Eddie drops to his knees and begs off, but Benoit kicks him right in the chest. Eddie keels over and latches onto the ropes, praying for a time out. Chris moves in, pulling him up by the hair, and Guerrero sends a mule kick between his legs as the ref tries to break them up! As Benoit staggers, Eddie grabs his head and springs out of the corner with a Tornado DDT, smacking him into the mat and covers for a one, two, TWO count only!

Guerrero now goes postal on the Crippler, cradling his head and pounds away on it. He then pulls him up and takes him over with s snap suplex, popping his hips and rolls through, taking him over with a second. He goes for a third, but this time Benoit blocks it, and takes Eddie over with one of his own to a pop from the crowd!

Benoit shakes his head out, trying to pull himself together before Eddie does. He fails, however, as Eddie comes in and takes him over for the third suplex. With the Wolverine down, Guerrero shimmies and goes up to the top rope, flying off with the Frog Splash, but Benoit rolls out of the way! The crowd then pops as Benoit swings around Guerrero with a German suplex, followed up by a second, crunching him into the mat!

CHAVO now races down the ramp and slides into the ring, and Benoit takes HIM over with a German as well! Chris quickly snatches Eddie with a snap suplex, and then one right back to Chavo, right on TOP of Eddie! Chavo rebounds off of his uncle and goes to his feet, and Benoit clotheslines him over the top rope and to the floor! Meanwhile, Eddie pulls himself up and rushes Benoit, latching onto his arm and goes to run up the ropes, but his knee gives out on him and he crotches himself on top! Eddie grimaces in pain, and Benoit is quick to capitalize, climbing up the ropes after him and takes him from the top and into the mat with a HUGE German suplex! The crowd pops LOUDLY as Eddie gets crunched into the mat, and Benoit covers for the one, two, and three count!


“Whatever” blasts over the speakers, as Chris Benoit advances to the next round of the King of the Ring!
