Highlights showing the rivalry between the two are shown on the Titantron,for the live crowd's benefit.

“You don't know when to quit do you?"

"You see, Shawn Michaels plays second to absolutely NOBODY, especially not “The Chosen One”.

"You challenged my pride, Shawn"

"I don't run, and I don't hide. The Heart Break Kid lies down for nooooobody!"

Shawn strikes his foot down once again, and the second Jarrett turns around, HBK fires forward with a Sweet Chin Music, LEVELING the chosen one!

"I'm gonna show you the difference between a "Chosen One"... You... and the Man... Me."

HBK then grabs Jarrett by the hair and tosses him back first into the corner, lacing a chop across his chest now to the "Wooo's" from the crowd!

"...you just gave me enough reason to hate you in there too."

Jeff keeps the chain in position and launches off with a Doomsday Device! HBK gets JOLTED to the canvas from the move and the chain, arching on his side and spitting blood from his mouth!

"...the one thing that I am absolutely 100 percent confident in, is that Jeff Jarrett… can NOT beat Shawn Michaels"

Shawn Michaels has appeared out of nowhere and PLANTS Jarrett with a Sweet Chin Music, shoving him closer in the middle of the ring before diving out himself! As soon as he's outside, HBK thumbs his tongue and wipes off the tip of his boot, then racing through the crowd to get away!

"You challenged my pride, Shawn"

Jarrett moves around him and latches the chain around his mouth, putting a foot on his back and yanking back on him!
"I TOLD you, you sonofabitch! You don't know when t'damn QUIT!"

"Its going to prove finally, to the world, and especially to YOU. That I'm better than you, Shawn. I've done this longer, and better than you ever have, or will."



HBK and Jarrett arguing back and forth to flash until...
lights up the Titantron again.






"Cowboy" by Kid Rock comes on the speakers first. The fans all get to their feet and turn their attention to the main soundstage as smoke comes from the floor there. Its followed by the entrance of the Chosen One, Jeff Jarrett!


JJ steps out onto the ramp, holding both fingers in the air and walking directly to the ring. He ignores the chants and insults of the fans so far and climbs in the squared circle. Jarrett yanks off his shirt and pulls on the top rope and the turnbuckles, sliding his kneepad into place and pacing around.

The fans all get to their feet as they know what's coming. A section starts to stomp on their own and come up with a chant of


H.B.K

H.B.K....

H.B.K...

H.B.K!!



"Sexy Boy" comes on the speakers, as the fans go ballistic! Their cheers welcome in the legendary Heartbreak Kid, SHAWN MICHAELS!

Michaels steps out onto the ramp and circles around, basking in every sound the crowd gives him. HBK kisses to the sky and then drops to his knees, giving praise to the heavens, before bouncing back up and walking to the ring. Shawn goes into the ring and gives a sideways look at Jarrett, finally pausing and sliding to a knee as his pyro blows behind him!

The two stare across the ring at one another, as referee Nick Patrick explains the rules to them both. They look at Patrick for a second, then to one another, and the fight is ON! Jeff sends a right hook at Michaels, who's head snaps back from it. Jarrett moves in for another, but Shawn catches this one and whips him to the ropes. Jeff comes back with a shoulderblock that takes Michaels to the mat, and runs to the opposite side. HBK pops up from it and goes high, crashing into the Chosen One with a spinning elbow. Jarrett lands on the mat himself and when he moves up, Shawn flips him over with a headlock takedown, torquing down on it while seated. Jeff reaches out for a moment, finds a crease and turns HBK over on his back, cradling him.

Patrick drops down for a count, but Shawn rolls forward back into the headlock. Jeff powers up a bit, and tries to hit him in the ribs to break it. HBK takes two of the shots and does a standing switch into a wristlock, turning it and twisting Jeff's arm at the shoulder. Shawn takes the open shot and CRACKS Jarrett across the chest with a hard knife edge chop! JJ bounces back to the ropes from it, and HBK follows in with ANOTHER one that lifts JJ up and over the top rope, and spilling out onto the floor! Jarrett collapses against the ring railing and blows up immediately, taking a swipe at a fan who decides to yell at him! JJ rubs his chest some more and nods at Shawn, going back into the ring. HBK moves over to the ropes, and Jeff reaches up with a thumb to the eye. He slides in as HBK backs up and guns him down with a HARD left jab to the jaw. Michaels hits the canvas and rolls over, trying to blink it out. Jarrett is right on him after this and latches a rear chinlock on him. He puts one knee in HBK's back and then starts to punch away at the side of his head, finally clawing at his nose. A 4 count from Patrick is enough to break Jeff's blows.

Jarrett waits until Shawn crawls over to the corner, and measures him. He then charges and crashes across the back of his neck and backs away when HBK bounces off.
Jeff stops, looks at the crowd, and then shakes his head, starting into his own strut. JJ finally finishes with a few choice words for the ringside crowd, and then turns back to where Shawn is. JJ moves closer, and Michaels reaches out, snatching his leg back with a single leg takedown and DIVES right on Jarrett, delivering a series of punches to him as well! Patrick goes for a count, and finally pulls Michaels off of him. But HBK dives out of it and gives a second flurry onto the Chosen One before breaking it out and waving him up. Jarrett moves to his feet and gets caught with a punch, then catches another. HBK grabs him by the arm and sends him crashing backfirst into the corner. As JJ bounces out, Shawn ducks down and brings him over with a backbody drop! Jarrett clenches at his back, before Shawn dives over and cradles him down into a pin attempt! This one gets 1....2...ONLY 2 as Jarrett shrugs his arm out! Michaels pulls him up by the hair and goes for a suplex. Jeff blocks it and shoves him out. HBK backs up and hits him with a punch, and an elbow shot to the mouth, then rushes to the opposite side of the ring, coming back with a headful of steam. Jarrett ducks down and hoists him up in a sidewalk slam, taking a step out and planting him HARD with a backbreaker across his knee!

Michaels body jolts up from this as Jarrett glances over at him. JJ rolls him on his stomach and goes up and down with an elbow across his spine. He reaches forward and then pulls back on his chin, stretching it out as much as he can with a wide grin on his lips. Shawn tries to roll to one side, and then the other, as the fans start to chant his initials repeatedly, working himself to his feet. Jarrett tries to force him down, but HBK lifts him up with an elbow to the midsection, then another, and a 3rd! The second Jeff's grip breaks, Shawn moves away and back in with a punch, but Jarrett ducks it, and brings him up and over with a VICIOUS spinning spinebuster! He drops down between HBK's legs and pulls back for a pin. This gets 1.....2...and just that, as Shawn pushes him off! Jarrett moves back over to him, and Shawn quickly grabs him by the trunks and pulls him through the ropes and out to the floor. HBK pulls himself up slowly, looking at Jeff coming back on the apron. Jarrett gets his feet set, and Shawn immediately grabs the back of his head and drapes him over the top rope and to the floor! The fans all go to their feet as Michaels rolls out of the ring after the Chosen One, dropping an elbow immediately on his back.

Shawn lifts Jeff up in an atomic drop and lands him right on the crowd divider. Jeff's face changes colors, as HBK backs up and measures him. He then climbs up on the ring apron, and gets a better look at where he is. Shawn takes a running start and comes flying off of the apron and collides with Jarrett, spilling both men into the crowd!
The fans go ballistic from this one, as both are laid out on the floor! A blonde in the front row backs up and tries to help Jeff up, as security moves over to get her away. She whispers something quickly and is pulled apart from them. After a few moments, Michaels pulls Jarrett up by the hair and gets BLASTED in the face by Jeff's fist. The fan finally puts her hands up to show that she's clear to the security, and then shakes her hair out, the camera takes a look in and sees that its Smackdown's LANA STAR!

Security backs away for a second, then goes to remove her, but she holds up both hands signaling for them to wait. She then digs around in a coat pocket, and her purse and pulls out her manager's licence! She then points at Jeff Jarrett and signals that she's in HIS corner for the rest of the match! Jarrett pulls HBK over by the railing and stands him up. He backs away for a bit and then charges, taking both men over the railing and back to the floor with a flipping clothesline! JJ gets up first from the floor, and grabs Shawn by the hair, dragging him back inside the ring. Jarrett shoves him in the corner and kicks him back to his seat, finally putting his foot back on his throat and shoving down on it. Michaels shoves his leg out and tries to pull back up. Jarrett goes at him a second time and gets caught by a boot by Shawn, then another, and finally HBK ducks low and pulls back on JJ's legs. Michaels walks him out a bit, falls backwards and slingshots the Chosen One chin first into the top turnbuckle. JJ bounces out and HBK hoists him up and down with an inverted Atomic Drop! Jeff's knees buckle from it, and Shawn backs into the ropes, coming back around with a charging forearm that knocks both to the canvas! Michaels lays on his back as well, and after a few seconds gives a kip up for the crowd's approval! The fans all start to stomp and chant for him, repeating HBK, HBK, over and over throughout the arena.

Shawn moves over to the corner and climbs up, measuring Jarrett and comes flying off with a driving elbow that lands right in his heart! Lana smacks on the apron outside, and screams at Jeff to get up. HBK flops on the mat after the impact and drags himself to the corner, as the crowd all stand up, anticipating what's coming next. Michaels pulls himself up, rests in the corner for a split second, raises his hand aloft and stomps HARD on the canvas! Jarrett starts to get up slowly across the ring, as Lana screams at him to not turn around. Michaels keeps tuning up the band as Jeff gets to his feet and moves to the side, JUST in time to see his foot fire forward. JJ catches the kick and spins Michaels around by it, latching his leg around, and setting up the Stroke! Jeff elbows him in the head quickly and falls forward with it. Shawn rolls with it, and puts his hand down instead, rolling through and tying up Jarrett in a cradle!

2...

ALMOST 3 as Jarrett's leg ends up on the bottom rope! Shawn looks up in shock and notices Lana tiptoeing away from the pin. HBK dives over and reaches out, grabbing her by the back of her hair and tugging HARD to pull her to the apron. He mouths a few threats to her, as Jarrett gets up, wrapping a chain around his fist. Jeff gets a start at him, and swings. HBK feels him coming and drops down to let him miss. Jarrett is a split second from connecting with Lana's face, but pauses as she falls off the apron on her own! The second's hesitation is all that Michaels needs though, and when Jeff turns, he's LEVELED with a superkick to the mouth that drops him like a bullet! HBK dives over on him after a moment, and pulls back on his leg. This count goes for 1...2...AGAIN only two as Jarrett has enough in him to shrug a shoulder out!

Michaels looks in complete shock as Jarrett was able to kick out of the Sweet Chin music. Shawn then backs into the corner, waiting Jeff up once again and waving his hand for him to rise quicker. The second Jarrett's up, Michaels goes flying at him with a high cross body block, but JJ catches him and snaps him over in a powerslam, jarring both men into the canvas. JJ pulls back on one leg and his head, and gets 1....2.....ALMOST 3 as HBK shoves his arm up from this one. Jeff lifts him up and Irish whips him across, getting set for something and drops his head down. Shawn immediately dives over Jarrett and pulls in a sunset flip almost bringing the Chosen One over! Jarrett immediately sits down on it, grabbing Shawn's legs with both hands. Lana holds her own hands out and gets hold of Jarrett's head for added leverage! Michaels tries to kick out of it, but finds himself trapped Patrick falls into position and gives the 1...2...AND THREE COUNT!
Lana drops back to floor, as HBK kicks out a split second too late!

The Chosen One rolls out of the ring and holds his fingers in the air, celebrating this tainted victory over the HeartBreak Kid! Lana rushes up by him and holds his arm in the air, the 24 Karat couple celebrating once more as HBK sits up in the ring, in shock at this ending!
