“Trip Like I Do” fires over the speakers, signaling the arrival of the number one contender, Lauren! The multi-time Women’s Champion walks out from the back with a look of sheer determination spread across her face. She climbs into the ring and walks from one side to the other, looking out to the crowd and awaits the champion as JR runs down her accomplishments, and Piper makes mention that she is the odds on favorite in the betting community.






The lights in the arena then go out as…






OH! It’s Time To Rock ‘N Roll!







The crowd soon booms with boos as the Women’s Champion, Trish Stratus walks out from the back. She stops at the top of the Hollywood stage and bows to the crowd, waiting for their adoration, which she doesn’t get. However, you wouldn’t know the difference as she thanks them regardless on her walk down the red carpet and to the ring. Once at ringside, she walks up the ring steps and motions for referee Nick Patrick to move Lauren back.


Lauren stands in the far corner, simply staring at Trish as the champion enters the ring, going from one side to the other, holding the championship belt above her head, but still keeping an eye on the challenger. Trish says to hell with it and walks right up to Lauren, raising the belt above her head with both arms, talking smack right in her face! Without hesitation, Lauren drills Trish with a forearm shot to the mouth, knocking her to her ass to a pop from the crowd! Trish rolls all the way to the other side of the ring, still holding the championship as she rubs her jaw, yelling at Lauren that you don’t treat a champion that way! Patrick then takes the belt from Trish and calls for the bell, officially starting this match!

Trish barks at the ref, telling him that she’s not stretched out yet! Lauren moves in on the champion, but Trish leans halfway through the ropes, and Patrick is forced to keep Lauren back. Trish gets back into the ring and nods her head, stretching her arms out up above her head to a round of boos from the fans. Lauren is ready to get this one going, telling Trish to stop playing games and fight. However, Trish continues to bide her time, resting her leg on the ropes and continues to stretch.

Lauren has had enough and moves over to Trish, kicking her leg out from under her. Trish flops to her back and rebounds right to her feet, where Lauren kicks her legs out from under her again! Trish rebounds back up and into a corner, holding her hands up and begging off! Lauren moves in with a knee lift to the mid section, and Trish immediately latches onto her, not letting go. Patrick moves in to break them up, and as soon as he gets between them, Trish jams a thumb into Lauren’s eye and then grabs two fists full of hair, now pulling her back first into the corner. She then laces a chop across Lauren’s chest, stunning her there. Trish grins as she licks her hand, firing another chop off that sounds throughout the arena!

The champion is now feeling it as she pulls Lauren out of the corner, leaning her against the ropes. She goes to whip her across but Lauren stands firm, holding onto the top rope. Trish tries it again, but Lauren refuses to budge. Trish then begins to shake her head as Lauren reverses the pull and backdrops Trish up and over and to the outside to a LOUD pop from the crowd!

Trish lands hard on her tailbone and begins to crawl away on her knees, waving Lauren off as she follows. Trish stumbles around the ring, but Lauren catches her, grabbing her by the hair and slams her into the Raw announce table! Trish rebounds off and goes rolling back into the ring, holding her face and screaming about her nose! Lauren stalks in after Trish as the champion throws herself into the ropes. Lauren goes to grab her, but the ref is in to break it up, and Trish capitalizes with a mule kick between Lauren’s lower stomach!

The crowd immediately breaks out into a chorus of boos as Lauren crumbles to her knees. Trish breaks out into a grin and wiggles her nose, showing that she was faking it and pats herself on the back. She now grabs Lauren by the hair and drills her with a forearm shot to the head, followed up by a second, and then a third. She fires Lauren across and goes for a Trish Kick on the return, but Lauren ducks beneath it, sets her feet, and as soon as Trish turns around, she takes her over with a Frankensteiner!

The crowd pops as Trish rebounds to her feet and stumbles back first into a corner. Lauren follows her in, meeting her there with a knee lift to the mid section, followed up by a forearm to the back of the neck. Lauren then goes into a spree, rotating between forearms and chops, wearing the champion down before hooking and spinning her out of the corner with a belly-to-belly suplex! Lauren pops to her feet and wipes down her abs à la Scott Steiner before putting a boot to Trish’s mouth, splitting her lip! Trish backs into the ropes, leaning her head on the bottom one, holding her hands up and calling for a time out. Lauren simply places her foot on Trish’s throat and steps onto the ropes, choking the life out of the champion before breaking at the four-count!

Lauren backs off and then shoves past Patrick, going right back over to Trish, pulling her up by the hair and slams her head into the corner pads. Trish continues to beg off as Lauren fires her across to the other side and charges in after her, but Trish gets her feet up into the challenger’s face. Trish them immediately hooks Lauren’s head from behind and mounts the ropes, lifting her feet right up off the mat with a choke hold! The crowd showers the ring with boos as Trish chokes the life out of Lauren, releasing at the four count with a grin. She then grabs Lauren once more, lifting her feet kicking off the mat, and once again releases right before getting disqualified! Trish then takes a bow and pats herself on the back to another round of boos from the crowd, but they soon pop as Lauren reaches up, grabbing Trish by the hair and flipping her off the top and straight to her back!

Lauren shakes off the effects of the choke and goes right to work, stomping Trish in the chest. She pulls her up and meets her with a forearm shot to the head, attempting to fire her across. Trish reverses the whip and ducks Lauren “Matrix” style on the return, sets her feet, and goes for a Trish Kick, but Lauren catches it. Trish bounces on one foot, holding her hands up and shaking her head as Lauren now grins, pulling her into a SICK clothesline that flips the champion inside out, almost taking her head off!

As soon as Trish stumbles up to her feet, Lauren latches onto her with a German, taking her over; however, Trish manages a full flip and lands on her feet, grabbing Lauren’s head from behind and rushes the ropes, going for the Stratusfaction Bulldog! Lauren holds firm, however, and tosses Trish over the top rope and to the floor to a pop from the crowd! Trish goes rolling onto the red carpet, sitting on her ass and looking back into the ring in shock that Lauren has countered her again! Trish has now had enough and she marches over to the time keeper’s table, grabbing her title and heads for higher ground. Lauren goes to chase after her, but Patrick keeps her in the ring and begins to count Trish out as she waves this match off, storming to the back.

However, Trish is stopped dead in her tracks as Nat Taylor, Stacy Keibler, Molly Holly, Jazz, Alexis, Torrie Wilson, Miss Jackie, Christy Hemme, Joy Giovanni, Amy Weber, and even Victoria walk out from the back! They all stand at the top of the stage, forming a barricade, and trapping the champion at ringside! Trish looks on in shock, holding her hands up and telling them to move! When she realizes that it’s go one on one with Lauren or face the wrath of the entire women’s division, she decides to make a break for it, trying to run right through them! However, they all catch Trish and lift her up off the floor and carry her down to ringside, rolling her back into the ring!

Trish goes rolling into the ring and right back to her feet, looking out at the other women in shock as she back steps… right into Lauren! Trish stops dead cold and inhales deeply before turning around, about to beg off when Lauren absolutely drills her with a fist to the mouth! Trish hits the mat and rebounds to her feet, and Lauren takes her right back down with consecutive Steinerlines! The challenger then fires the champion across, taking her HIGH into the air with a back body drop, and Trish lands directly onto her tail bone!

All of the women circle the ring as though it’s a lumberjack match, watching on closely. Angel Williams now comes down the red carpet, forcing her way into the circle and smacks the mat, the only one cheering Trish on! Trish pulls herself up, a look of desperation spread across her face as Lauren stalks in after her, lifting her up and bodyslam her right back down to the mat. Trish holds her lower back in an extreme amount of pain, and Lauren shows no sign of letting up, stomping right on her back repeatedly! The challenger is completely physically dissecting the champion at this point, pulling her up by the hair and body slams her again, and then a third time, and then a fourth time!

Trish is almost on the verge of tears as she holds her lower back in agony, looking up at Lauren and pleading for mercy! Lauren, however, responds with a STIFF kick to the chest that doubles Trish over! As Trish flattens out on the mat, Lauren stands above her and calls for the end, pulling the champion into the Steiner Recliner! The crowd goes WILD as Trish screams out in pain, freeing her arms from Lauren’s knees and desperately reaches for the ropes, but just can’t get them! Just as it looks as though Trish is about to tap, Angel reaches into the ring, trying to pull Trish to the ropes, but Lauren lets go and STOMPS on Angel’s hand! Angel screams out in pain, and she is then run from ringside by the other women!

As Lauren watches Angel leave, Trish comes up from behind her, hooks her head and springs off the ropes, JAMMING her face first into the mat with the Stratusfaction Bulldog from out of NOWHERE! The crowd gasps as Trish covers, hooking the leg for the one, two, three… TWO! Lauren kicks out! The crowd cheers LOUDLY as Trish is in disbelief, she just can’t put the challenger away! She sits on her butt and pulls at her hair, kicking her feet on the mat in anger!

Lauren rolls away and to the ropes, and all of the women at ringside begin to stomp their feet in appreciation, and it seems to hype Lauren up as she uses the ropes to pull herself up. Trish comes in from behind her, grabbing two fists full of Lauren’s hair and swings her head from side to side, SCREAMING at her to stay down! She then boots Lauren in the gut and SLAPS her across the face before moving back, bouncing on her toes and setting up for the Trish Kick. However, this angers Lauren and she releases a scream of her own, charging Trish and taking her feet out from under her, spearing her into the mat and grabs onto her hair with her left hand and begins to pound away with the right!

The crowd goes wild as Lauren further busts Trish’s lip open before pulling her up by the hair and flips her over with a snapmare, followed up by a STIFF boot to the back! Trish tightens up from that one and begins to crawl away on her hands and knees, trying to roll out of the ring from under the bottom rope, but Lauren grabs onto the back of her pants, keeping her in the ring. She pulls Trish right up to her feet by the pants, showing a little crack to a pop from the crowd, and takes her over with a HUGE German suplex, crunching her into the mat!

That does it right there, Trish is motionless on the mat now, her back having been completely decimated. Lauren looks down on her and moves her hair out of her face before leaning down, pulling Trish to her feet by her hair. She holds her up before turning her around, hooking her for the TKO! All of the women around the ring stomp their feet and slap the mat for the end of the match, and Trish’s title reign as Lauren goes for the spin, but Trish somehow squeaks free, sets her feet, and absolutely KO’s Lauren with a Trish Kick out of nowhere! Lauren drops straight to her back and Trish falls on top of her, hooking the near leg as tightly as she can as the official counts the one, two, and THREE!


“Rock ‘N Roll” blasts over the speakers to the surprise of all of the fans, the Divas, and especially Trish Stratus herself! The official hands her the championship, and Trish holds three fingers up, asking if it was actually a three! Trish’s eyes then light up as the ref nods his head, and it finally sinks in that she has actually beaten Lauren!

Trish rolls away from the fallen challenger and uses the ropes to pull herself up, looking down at the title in shock before raising it above her head in celebration! She then motions for the women at ringside to part and make way, which they reluctantly do, and she exits the ring, walking past them and back up the red carpet, victorious!

Lauren sits up in the ring, rubbing her jaw and shaking her head, watching the replay over the big screen, finally realizing that she’s been beaten. She rolls over to a knee, staring at the replay in complete shock herself, hanging her head low. Once at the top of the stage, Trish looks back to the ring and takes a bow before raising the title above her head once more and disappears to the back to a round of boos from the fans.
