Tonight, you will have the opportunity to restore honor to the championship when you challenge Jesse Hart in the main event. Are you at all concerned that with Athene being the General Manager that they will stop at nothing to ensure victory?

Benoit: Of course they’ll stop at nothing to ensure victory. They don’t care how they do it so long as they hold onto the championship. Jesse Hart doesn’t care about what that title means, Jesse Hart doesn’t give a DAMN about—











~Benoit is then interrupted by Edge, who walks onto the scene, pulling Josh’s arm, and the mic towards him.~


Edge: And I don’t give a DAMN about you!


~Benoit is taken aback by this interruption, watching to see what Edge has to say.~


Edge: All I’ve heard all week long is “Chris Benoit this, and Chris Benoit that!” Well what about ME? What about Edge? I was SCREWED last week by John Cena, and I was screwed at the Royal Rumble by YOU! And now you get rewarded with a title shot? Where’s MY title shot? I’ve NEVER had a titl—


~Benoit now cuts Edge off.~ Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Maybe the fact that you’ve never had a World title shot is because you do nothing but whine and complain! Do you want some cheese with that wine, huh? Or do you want to EARN a title shot?


~Edge’s eyes are wide, staring ahead at Benoit.~


Benoit: If you really want a title shot, then I’ll give you one after I BEAT Jesse Hart tonight. But don’t get me wrong… I’m not giving you a title shot because you’ve earned it, Edge… I’m giving you one to just shut you the hell UP once and for all!


~Benoit steps forward, staring Edge down before breaking out into a toothless smirk and walks off scene. Edge is left behind, breathing heavily and pissed off as he watches Benoit leave.~
