“I Don’t Suck!” blasts over the speakers, and these Canadian fans absolutely EXPLODE with boos as Kurt Angle walks out from the back. He stops partway down and throws his arms above his head in time with his pyros before making his way down to the ring. As he stretches out, highlights of what he did to Charlie Haas at the Royal Rumble are shown, and Kurt can’t help but to break out into a grin.









“World’s Greatest” blasts over the speakers, and the crowd pops LOUDLY for the arrival of Charlie Haas! He makes his way down the ramp, nothing but business on his mind as he slides into the ring, going right at Angle and they begin to trade right hands!


Haas takes Kurt down to the mat with a double leg takedown and begins to unload on him with a series of rights and lefts! Kurt reverses it and straddles Haas, but Charlie keeps spinning and both men go rolling through the ropes and to the floor. As soon as they both reach their feet, Charlie hurries in after Angle and lifts his feet off the mat again, bringing him crashing back first to the floor and unloads all over his former mentor! Haas now pulls Angle up by the head and fires him across, and Kurt’s knees smack into the ring steps and he flips right over them! The crowd begins to chant…


“CHARLIE! CHARLIE! CHARLIE! CHARLIE! CHARLIE! CHARLIE!”


Haas stalks in after Angle, grabbing him by the back of the head and rubs his face against the mat before pulling him up, drilling him with a right hand to the mouth. Kurt goes flailing face first onto the announce table, and Haas begins to slam him into it repeatedly! Even after Charlie lets go, the momentum keeps Angle’s head bouncing off the table!

Haas then grabs Kurt by the singlet and tosses him into the ring, following in after him. Kurt rolls all the way across and into a corner, holding his hands up and begging off. Charlie stalks in after him with his fist balled up and shows no remorse, going for a shot, but Kurt grabs him by the front of his tights and brings him chest first into the corner pads. Angle now quickly goes to the attack, ramming repeated shoulder blocks into Haas’ spine. He spins him around and drills him with a right hand, firing him across; however, Charlie leaps onto the middle ropes and flies off with a reverse elbow, catching Kurt in the mouth as he charges in after him!

Haas once again cradles Kurt’s head, drilling him with right hand after right hand! Kurt scrapes and claws his way free from Charlie, pulling himself up in a corner and looks as if he is about to cry, begging for Charlie to back off! Haas responds with a forearm shot to the mouth, and then mounts the ropes, balls his fist up and begins to hammer away on the former champion as the crowd counts along!


“ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN!”


Haas descends from the ropes and hooks Kurt’s head, lifting him up onto the ropes. He climbs up after him and hooks his head, taking him off the top with a Superplex, but Angle shifts his weight in mid air and lands on top of Charlie, hooking the leg for a one, two, and ALMOST a three count!

The crowd cheers as Haas kicks out, and Kurt continues to crawl away, not knowing what to make of Charlie Haas tonight! He pulls himself up, but is distraught to see that Haas is already up to his feet, stalking in after him! Kurt goes to head for the hills, trying to escape through the ropes, but Charlie grabs him by the singlet from behind, pulling him back into the ring; however, Angle fights back by throwing a mule kick between the legs, crunching Haas where the sun don’t shine!

The fans BOOM with boos as Charlie crumbles to his knees, and Kurt uses this time to shake his head out. Kurt then turns on a dime and DRILLS Haas in the face with a boot, dropping him face first to the mat. Angle now goes on the attack, stomping all over Charlie’s previously injured shoulder and then drops down onto it, pulling back with a wicked arm bar.

Charlie tries to fight his way to the ropes, but Angle is relentless. He pulls Charlie back into the middle of the ring by his arm and then holds it in place with one foot, and stomps down onto it with the other! Angle begins to physically dissect Haas now, dropping repeated elbow drops to his shoulder! Haas rolls to the ropes, grimacing in pain as he clutches his now re-injured shoulder! Angle drops down to the mat and slides to the outside, pulling Charlie towards the ring post by his arm and then slams it around it!

The crowd begins to lynch Angle as Haas’ body jolts from the pain, and he goes rolling all the way across the ring and into a corner, just trying to survive at this point! Angle jaws with a few fans before stalking in after Charlie, leaning over and smacking him across the face with a grin. Haas responds by SPITTING up into Angle’s face, which lights a fire under his ass and Kurt quickly drops down onto him, choking the life out of his former pupil! Kurt now drags Charlie out of the corner by his arm and pulls him up to his feet, but Haas swings around him and tosses Angle across the ring with a surprising German suplex! The fans cheer loudly, but the move seems to hurt Haas more than it did Angle as Charlie kicks his feet on the mat wildly, clutching his shoulder.













This prompts Nat to break her promise as she makes her way down to the ring, looking extremely concerned for Haas. Once she reaches ringside, she makes eye contact with Kurt, and Angle breaks out into a grin upon seeing her. He looks down at Nat and speaks. “Now I’ll REALLY get this match going!” He then goes over to Charlie, but he walks into a drop-toe-hold, and Charlie rolls him into the Haas of Pain!


The crowd EXPLODES as Angle is SCREAMING out in pain! Nat cheers Charlie on, but his shoulder gives out on him and he is forced to release Angle! Charlie pulls himself to his feet, but Kurt pops right up to his feet and swings around him with a HUGE German suplex, crunching him into the mat!

Angle swings his head from side to side, feeling it now as he knows that Charlie Haas has no offense. He smirks out to Nat as he pulls Haas up, taking him up and over with an Olympic Slam! Kurt then PULLS DOWN THE STRAPS to a HUGE chorus of boos from the fans, and he stomps his feet up and down on the mat, going for the kill now. He comes in and grabs Haas by the ankle, locking in the Angle Lock! Charlie HOWLS out in pain, leaning all of his weight on his good shoulder and tries to reach the ropes with his bad arm, but he doesn’t have the strength to do so. He then shifts onto his back and reaches forward, pulling Angle down into a small cradle for the one, two, TWO!

Kurt rolls free and right back up to his feet, dropping down onto Charlie’s shoulder with a double axe handle and locks in another arm bar! Haas screams out in pain, but he fights his way to his knees, and then to his feet. With Nat encouraging him, he begins to fight back with elbow shots to the ribs of Angle, followed up by numerous right hands until he is free. Kurt goes back bumping, and as he stumbles forward, Charlie catches him with an over the head belly-to-belly suplex to the surprise of EVERYONE!

Kurt hits the mat and grimaces in pain himself, rebounding back to his feet and he walks right into an Olympic Slam by Haas! Nat jumps up and down on the outside as Charlie goes for the cover, getting the upsetting one, two, TWO! Angle kicks out!

Charlie pulls at his hair with his one good arm, in complete shock! He grabs Kurt by the arm and pulls him up, leaning him against the ropes. He fires him across, but Angle comes flying back with a cross body, and Haas counters it into a Powerslam for another close two count! Angle pops right back up to his feet and walks into a boot to the mid section. Haas grips his head and goes for a DDT, but Angle holds onto the top rope and lets Charlie fall straight to the mat. Kurt then IMMEDIATELY latches on to him with another Angle Lock, pulling him into the middle of the ring!

Charlie buries his face in the mat, gripping the back of his head, knowing that he’s done now. Kurt SCREAMS at him to “Tap Out you Son of a BITCH!” Haas lifts his arm up off the mat, but rather than tap out, he uses it to roll forward, and sends Kurt crashing chest first into the corner pads! Charlie then rolls Kurt up, hooking the tights for the one, two, THREE!

No! Angle kicks out and the ref quickly calls it a two count! Nat pulls at her hair on the outside, smacking the mat in shock! Kurt bolts right back up to his feet and is a man on fire now, lifting Haas right up off the mat and goes to finish it with an Olympic Slam, but Haas flips upside down in mid air and floats around Angle, surprising him by pulling him down with a schoolboy and places all of his weight on his legs as the ref counts the one, two, THREE!


The crowd EXPLODES as “World’s Greatest” blasts over the speakers, and Charlie Haas has upset Kurt Angle!


Nat immediately enters the ring, throwing herself down to her knees next to Charlie to make sure he’s alright. Kurt sits on his ass and grips his head in complete shock, trying to figure out where he went wrong! He bolts up to his feet and looks down to the laid out Haas and goes for the attack, but Shelton Benjamin hits the ring, standing between Haas and Angle and tells Kurt that he’ll have to go through HIM first!

The crowd is going WILD as Kurt contemplates his options before taking a few steps back, holding his hands up and hits the mat, rolling to the outside. Benjamin keeps his eyes locked on Angle as he walks backwards up the ramp, staring back in complete shock that he got beat by Charlie Haas!

Meanwhile, Nat and Shelton aid Charlie to his feet, and Haas holds his good arm above his head in victory as he locks eyes with Angle. As Kurt watches on from the top of the stage, Nat turns Charlie’s head towards her and presses her lips against his in celebration! Kurt looks to be almost in tears at the top of the stage, grabs at his head and is FUMING as he turns and heads to the back, waving off his former teammates!

The crowd gives Charlie Haas a standing ovation as we go to a commercial break!
