"Cowboy" comes on the speakers, as the Chosen One, Jeff Jarrett arrives from behind the curtain. Jarrett mouths with the fans before climbing to the corner and perches on the 2nd rope. He holds his fingers up in the air before pounding his chest to return fire to the crowd.




The lights in the arena go out as the Y2J countdown begins over the Titantron. Once it reaches 2, with the “Y” and the “J” around it, pyros blare up from all around the entranceway as “Break the Walls Down” comes over the speakers!








Chris Jericho then appears at the top of the stage as the lights come back on, with his back to the crowd. He turns to face the ring and makes his way down, climbing up the ring steps and leans against the ropes, motioning to the Heavyweight Championship around his waist and grins out to JBL before entering the ring.


JBL leans over to Ross. "I'll give the devil his due here....Chris Jericho is a fighting champion..what that gets him tonight? Is a fight against Jeff Jarrett. And JBL watching his ass too."


Jericho removes the title from around his waist and points to it, getting in Jarrett's face talking trash.













Mercy Drive's "Away" rocks on the speakers right before the bell is rung. Jarrett and Jericho both look to the entrance ramp as Randy Orton steps out onto it, holding a bottle of water in his hand and walking towards the ringside area to sit on JR's other side. Orton waves the two to go and fight while he waits for a headset.


JR: "Oh and isnt this just lovely...amateur hour at the Raw desk..."

JBL: "For once, I agree...Randy....nothin' personal but...This is my gimmick for the show!"

Orton: "First of all, Ross...You can keep your desk. I am here, unlike the new color cowboy...because I have a vested interest in the result. The winner of this match is likely the man to face me at Wrestlemania. And I...just want to do some research. C'mon boys, entertain me!"


Randy reaches over and rings the bell for them, waving them into a tieup. The second the bell rings, the lights in the arena flicker for a second, flashing an image on the Titantron.
As soon as it appears in focus, the image gets brighter and brighter, finally flashing white and turning the house lights back on.

JR: "Okay, this is getting silly...someone start the match for Pete's sake!"

Referee Nick Patrick looks around the ring at both men and to Orton on the outside. Randy shrugs at the action and then leaves the bell aside. Jarrett looks at Jericho in disbelief and quickly throws a right hand to Chris' chin! Chris is rocked back into a corner, and he retaliates with a kick to the gut. He then shoves JJ into the corner and laces a STIFF chop across his chest. Jarrett takes the chop and exhales out quickly. He then switches up, holds Jericho's arms out and gives a knife edge of his own across the sternum!

Chris fires back with another kick, followed up by a few stiff right hands. He then leans Jarrett against the ropes and goes to fire him across, but Jarrett counters. Jericho hits the ropes and comes firing forward with a running forearm shot to the head that floors the challenger. He then races towards the ropes, springing off of them for the Lion Sault but lands on his feet as JJ rolls out of the way.

Jeff rolls over to the corner on his backside, putting a hand up to ask for a break in the action. Jericho answers with a running dropkick to his mouth and pulls him out for a quick pin attempt! Jarrett kicks out at 2 and stands for a split second, before being tossed over with a Japanese arm drag! Y2J then pulls Jarrett's legs out from under him, trying to turn him over into the Walls!

Jeff reaches up, grabbing Jericho by the hair and turns him into a modified small package, getting only 2 before Chris kicks out! Jeff waits him up and drills him again with a punch, followed by a knee-lift, and then a HARD axe handle to the back of the neck! Chris drops down to a knee, but he takes advantage of the situation and pulls Jarrett's legs out from under him, going for the Walls of Jericho once more!


JR: It could end just this quickly folks, tonight and at WrestleMania!

Orton: "Tonight, maybe...but if Chris Jericho thinks his Wrestlemania match is going to end that quickly, then maybe he's got a crack at you or something, JBL..."

JBL: "Now you see here, you little bastar...."

JR: AHEM....Jeff Jarrett gets to the ropes instead....showing the cunning that made him a 4 time UCW champion, and the ring awareness that it requires.


Jericho lets Jarrett go and they both get to a vertical base, circling one another and move in for a lock-up. Jarrett ducks under the tie-up this time and spins him up and around with a gut wrench. JJ steps forward and drops Y2J right on his knee with a shoulder breaker! Jarrett lets him fall to the canvas and immediately goes to work on his arm, folding it behind him and driving a knee into it! Jeff pulls him out by the arm and drapes it over the top rope. Jarrett steps through the ropes and points out at Orton and JBL, then leaps off the apron, jolting it up Jericho's shoulder!

Jarrett then rolls back in the ring. He strings Jericho's arm out again and latches in a kneeling arm bar, forcing his knee into Chris' shoulder from behind to try and yank it out of socket again. Jericho bites down on his teeth hard as Jarrett keeps twisting at it. The fans start to clap and cheer for Jericho. Chris forces himself slowly to one knee, as Jarrett's pushed up by it. Y2J gets almost to his feet as they chant his initials over and over. Chris is almost upright, before Jarrett grasps hold of his arm and forces him shoulder first into the mat with a single arm DDT! Jeff cradles his elbow behind him and rolls him onto his side, getting a 1....2...ONLY a 2 count!

Jericho rolls onto his stomach as Jarrett argues with Nick Patrick about the count. Chris gets to his feet, and as soon as JJ moves over towards him, he battles back with a chop in self defense! Jericho sends another few chops forward, but Jarrett halts the momentum with a thumb to the eyes to a round of boos from the crowd! Jeff grabs him by the back of the head and shoves his forehead into the turnbuckle. Y2J puts a foot up to stop the shove, and reverses it, sending Jarrett skull first instead! JJ's head bounces off once, as Jericho grabs his own, sending it in for a counted along 10 times!

Jeff bounces off of it after the 10th, and stares at Jericho and then out to the crowd, stumbling around the ring a bit. The Chosen One shakes it out, and puts his hands up for a fight. Y2J goes to run the ropes and catch him from behind but stops and watches. JJ keeps his fists up to no one in particular and finally falls face first into the canvas!

Jericho moves right on top of him, pulling him back for a 1...2..ONLY a 2 count as Jarrett kicks out! JJ moves up to his feet. Chris grabs him by the hand and goes to Irish whip him into the corner, watching as he bounces off HARD. Jericho then races to the other side, and catches JJ parallel by the back of the head and drives him right back into the mat with a bulldog! Jarrett rolls over from it, as Jericho gets a running start, bounces off the 2nd rope and Lionsaults onto Jeff's chest! Jarrett rolls over onto his side, as Y2J pushes him back, going for another pin and getting a crowd assisted 1...2....AGAIN a 2 count as Jarrett rolls his arm out!

Jericho backs away and yanks Jeff up by the shorts, as he's on his way up, Chris grabs hold of his arm and tries to force him into a half nelson, setting up for the Breakdown.
Jeff feels himself set up, and adjusts his own leghold, catching Chris by the head and dropping him with the Stroke instead!

JBL: "You have GOT to be kidding me? This can't happen like th..." Bradshaw yanks off his headset and moves to the ring apron.

Orton: "Wait, what the hell do you think you're doing?!?"

Randy gets up after JBL, staying close behind him.

Jericho's face hits the canvas, as Jarrett falls to his side. Y2J's laid out on the mat, giving JJ the time to crawl over slowly and lay across his chest to the crowd's boos!
The ref drops down and gives a 1...2...and then looks up as Jericho's foot has been put over the bottom rope!

...by JBL, who emphatically points it out to Nick Patrick. Orton spins him around by the arm and confronts him loudly on the outside. Randy shoves JBL and orders him back to the table. Bradshaw looks at him in disbelief and goes nose to nose with him on the outside, threatening that Orton might not MAKE it to Wrestlemania if he keeps acting like this.

Jericho finally moves to the ropes and notices the conflicts. Jarrett catches his breath and watches Jericho. Y2J pulls himself to the 2nd rope, and leans over it, telling both Orton AND JBL to hit the bricks! Orton turns around and argues with Jericho for a bit, as Jarrett waits behind him for his opportunity. Randy says something to Jericho that ignites the champion. Chris grabs Orton by his head, and JBL by his, doing a double noggin knocker that lays BOTH men out!

Jarrett reaches into his shorts and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles, keeping them out and ready for a knockout punch, when the crowd explodes behind him. JJ turns around, and sees nothing but the sole of a cowboy boot!


Shawn Michaels has appeared out of nowhere and PLANTS Jarrett with a Sweet Chin Music, shoving him closer in the middle of the ring before diving out himself! As soon as he's outside, HBK thumbs his tongue and wipes off the tip of his boot, then racing through the crowd to get away!

Jericho turns and sees Jarrett laid out, and runs the ropes, leaping back off with a second Lionsault and grips back on his leg! Patrick drops down and gives a 1...2..and THREE count along with the crowd!

"Break the Walls Down" comes back on the speakers, as The King of the World has knocked off ANOTHER contender for his title! Jericho holds the belt aloft, as he points down to the angered Orton on the outside! Jericho then moves over to the ropes, hoisting it again and telling Randy that Wrestlemania is getting closer and closer by the minute!
