Welcome to a revolutionary night right here LIVE on Brand Smackdown!

Our General Manager, Athene, has just dropped a BOMBSHELL stating that due to a possible career ending injury suffered at the Royal Rumble last Sunday, Jesse Hart has been stripped of the World Championship!

Right here tonight, Athene has made a series of exhibition matches that will aid her in deciding who will be named as the NEW World Champion by the end of the evening!

Chris Benoit and Matt Morgan will have a chance to prove their worth when they meet one on one!

Shelton Benjamin will begin his run as a singles competitor after the injury of his partner Charlie Haas when he takes on the undefeated Carlito “Caribbean” Cool!

We will have a Royal Rumble rematch where John Cena defends the United States Championship against Edge!

The Tag Team Championship will be on the line when Les Séparatistes defend against the highly flamboyant team of Rob Van Dam and Spanky!

Also, Evolution will be in the house tonight, and will their actions from last Monday’s Raw carry over on Smackdown!?

And finally, in our main event, former National Champions Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar will square off one on one!
