~The fans boo as Athene appears over the Smacktron once more, still in her office. A knock comes to her door.~ “It's open.”










~Evolution steps through the door, with Adonis Jordan leading the way, followed by Nick Dinsmore and Matt Morgan. Jordan speaks first~ "So any word on when he'll be back?"


Athene: “That depends on who you're talking about. If you're talking about Randy Orton, he'll be back when he wins the Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. If you're talking about Jesse, then I'm going to stop you right there because I'm not about to get into this again tonight.”

Adonis: "It’s a bit of both, I mean...we all support Randy, there's no question about that. But you know just as well as we do, that Jesse's gotten the same amount of support. So... Boss... can we sit down and negotiate something?" ~Adonis curls a smile as the other two Evolution members look to one another..~

Athene: “I'm not in the mood for negotiations tonight, so I'm just going to tell you like it is, Donnie. Tonight, I have to name a new World Champion, which is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I have to replace Jesse Hart, and you know what? He's irreplaceable. But this is what we're GOING to do. Matt Morgan, you're gonna go out there and BEAT Chris Benoit, and you're going to give me a reason to name you as the World Champion, understood? And you two...” ~Looks to Adonis and Nick.~ “… your loyalty will not go unrewarded. As of right now, consider Evolution the number one contenders to the Undisputed Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania.” ~Pauses.~ “Anything else?”

~Adonis nudges Dinsmore with a smile.~ "That's all we needed to hear. Oh yeah, almost forgot. The Wrestlemania spot is exactly what we needed, but there's one slight thing we wanted. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas took our rep. Twice. We want a chance to square things up. Since I know you got some history with them too, we'll do it just to see you smile."

Athene: “They've got a rematch as soon as Haas is cleared, so you may just get your wish at WrestleMania. But, if there's nothing else, I have work to do.” ~Sends a pointed glare to the door.~ “Morgan, get it done.”



~Just as Evolution goes to walk out of the room, Brock Lesnar walks in, standing face to face with Matt Morgan.~











~Morgan looks Brock up and down, not blinking.~ "Good luck tonight."


~Brock turns and watches as Evolution leave before turning back to Athene, who is now seated behind her desk, releasing a sigh.~


Athene: “This has better be damn good.”

~Brock stands across from her desk, not saying a word.~

Athene: “What? Are you thinking or something? Stop it, it’s creepy.”

Brock: “Listen…”

Athene: “Let me guess… you want to be the World Champion?”

~Brock nods his head.~ “I WILL be the World Champion. I’m gonna beat Kurt Angle into the mat tonight, what I need to know is what ELSE I have to do to get that belt?”

~She leans forward on her desk.~ “Oh, really?”

Brock: “Name it.”

Athene: “Be Jesse Hart. No? That’s what I thought, so why don’t you start by taking out Kurt Angle. If you do that, then we’ll talk.”
