~The camera cuts into Athene's office, where she sits behind her desk, speaking on the phone.~ You still don't know how long he's gonna be out for? What are we PAYING you for?









~The crowd then IMMEDIATELY booms with boos as Kurt Angle walks into her office, leaning over the desk and taking her phone away from her, hanging it up and stares directly down on her.~


~Athene glares at Kurt, jaw dropped, then sighs, rubbing her temple.~ You'd better not be asking a favour after that.

Kurt: I'm not asking for anything... I'm demanding. Jesse Hart is gone, and no matter how much you want to hide and cry your eyes out, you have a job to do... and that job is to name Smackdown!'s BEST as the World Champion, and you're looking at him, sister.

Athene: You're demanding, surprise surprise... haven't you learned yet, Kurt, that that won't actually get you ANYTHING?

Kurt: And I'm assuming that's why you've got me booked against that dumbass farm boy Brock Lesnar? Well, that's fine, because I'll do to Brock what I've always done to him, and to Jesse... and that's make him Tap Out. Once I do that, "boss", you'd better to your damned job, or else what I did to Charlie Haas at the Royal Rumble will look like breakfast at Tiffany's once I get my hands on you. ~Kurt takes a few steps back, nodding his head, staring down at her with his cold, calculating, beady eyes.~

~Athene remains silent, watching Kurt.~

~Kurt makes his way to the door, and the crowd pops as he finds himself face to face with Chris Benoit!~













~They look one another square in the eyes, Benoit stepping right up into Kurt's face. After a few moments, Kurt moves to the side, walking away from Benoit, but not once taking hsi eyes off of him. Once Kurt is gone, Benoit now moves over to Athene's desk, rubbing a fist in his hand.~

~Athene's lip curls in disgust when she sees Benoit.~ Enough! Enough... you got your shot just like everyone else.

Benoit: I had my chance, and I made him tap. I'm just here to remind you of one thing, Athene, and that's respect. You were brought up to respect this business, and in making your decision tonight, that's what I expect out of you. I'm not here to beg for the championship, hell, I don't WANT the championship like that. I want the championship by making Jesse Hart tap out, plain and simple. But if that's not going to be able to happen, I don't think that you should award this title to anybody, I say let us FIGHT for it. Just remember where you came from, Athene... and respect the heritage of that title.

~Athene sits with her arms crossed over her chest, pursing her lips in contemplation as Benoit walks out.~
