“Whatever” blasts over the speakers, bringing each and every fan to their feet in an eruption for Chris Benoit! The Canadian Crippler walks out at the top of the stage and stops, looking around the entire arena and to all of the screaming fans who cheer him wildly! Benoit gives them a chest pound before making his way down the ramp, walking very gingerly on his injured ankle that he suffered during the Elimination Chamber. He slides into the ring and calls for a mic, but before he can speak the fans begin a LOUD chant of…


“BENOIT! BENOIT! BENOIT! BENOIT! BENOIT!”


Chris soaks it all in and waits for the crowd to die down before speaking.


Benoit: CARLITO! It’s time to defend your name… So get your ass out here and show the WORLD just who in the HELL you are!


The Wolverine hands the mic off and paces back and forth, waiting impatiently for the arrival of Carlito.









I Spit In The Face… Of People Who Don’t Want To Be Cool!







After a few moments, Carlito “Caribbean” Cool walks out onto the top of the stage, staring down the ramp at Benoit in shock that he was able to show up. Carlito slowly makes his way down the ramp for his first UCW one on one contest, carefully climbing onto the apron and ordering the official to move Benoit back.


Once Benoit backs off, Carlito cautiously enters the ring and goes to take off his shirt, but thinks twice about it as he looks across at the chopping Benoit and decides to button it up instead. Referee Charles Robinson calls for the bell, and Benoit has waited long enough, moving right in on Carlito and backing him into a corner. Carlito quickly sticks his head between the ropes, and Robinson gets between him and Benoit; however, as soon as Chris turns his back, Carlito charges him from behind, but Benoit turns on a dime and feints a chop, causing Carlito to fall back onto his ass!

Benoit now shoves past the official and traps Carlito in the corner, LACING a chop across his chest! Benoit then tears Carlito’s shirt open and sends another chop off, this one across his bare chest to the approval of the crowd! He now pulls the rookie out of the corner and fires him across, taking him down on the return with a double forearm shot to the chest!

Carlito pops right back up to his feet and stumbles right into a snap suplex! Benoit now comes off the ropes with a rolling elbow, and then goes to lock on the Crossface, but Carlito grabs a hold of the bottom rope for dear life! Benoit releases him and backs off, calling Carlito on. Carlito, however, rolls to the outside and waves this match off, stumbling back up the ramp. The fans boo LOUDLY for the cowardice act, but they then pop as Benoit chases out after Carlito, mugging him from behind and tosses him back down the ramp!

Carlito slides into the ring, and as soon as Benoit enters, he quickly stomps on his ankle! Benoit’s knee buckles, and Carlito is quick to capitalize, kicking it right out from under him. He then grabs Benoit’s leg and drops three consecutive elbow drops to his inner thigh, pulling back on his ankle as hard as he can. Carlito is then forced to break the hold as Benoit reaches the ropes, but he stays on Benoit like a pitbull, pulling him right back up to his feet and goes to fire him across, but Benoit holds on and ducks low and behind, taking the rookie over with a German suplex!

The crowd pops as Benoit holds on and takes him over with a second, and then a third! The Wolverine pops back up to his feet and kicks his ankle out, giving Carlito the throat slash signal! Benoit now goes up to the top rope, sets his feet, and then dives off with the Swandive headbutt, connecting head on! The crowd pops as Benoit’s body rebounds off the mat, rolling away from Carlito and shaking his head out before crawling back onto him, locking him in the Crippler Crossface!














Matt Morgan now arrives at ringside, pulling Benoit directly out of the ring and off of Carlito, but Benoit fires back with a chop!













The crowd then pops as Brock Lesnar races down the ramp, but Robinson meets him there and tries to order him to the back!


Meanwhile, Morgan takes a steel chair and drills Benoit across the knee with it! As he buckles down, Morgan brings the chair CRASHING down onto his head, knocking him cold! Morgan then rolls Benoit back into the ring, but just then, Brock makes it past Robinson and clotheslines Morgan over the barricade and into the crowd, giving chase through the fans!

Back in the ring, Carlito pulls himself up and takes a look around, and then down to Benoit. He sees that Benoit is motionless and drops down onto him, locking the Crossface on the Crippler! Robinson says to hell with Morgan and Lesnar and slides back into the ring, checking Benoit’s arm once, twice, and then a third time before calling for the bell, awarding this match to Carlito!


Carlito pops back up to his feet, a grin spreading across his face as he looks shocked as all hell about his victory, but it doesn’t take him long to embrace it as he throws both of his arms above his head in celebration as the fans BOOM with boos!
