“You Think You Know Me… You Think You Know Me…”






“Metallingus” by Alter Bridge hits the speakers, sparking the arrival of EDGE to his new theme! The crowd has a slightly mixed reaction as Edge bounces out onto the top of the stage, making his way from side to side before tearing down the ramp, sliding into the ring and goes right up the ropes.







We Lie, We Cheat, We Steeeeeeeal!






~The crowd surprisingly cheers for the arrival of Los Guerreros’ custom Low Rider! Eddie and Chavo ride down the ramp and to the ring, Eddie flashing his United States Championship proudly before entering the ring, squaring off with Edge.


Once in the ring, he flaunts the championship in front of Edge, but Edge kick starts this match with a right fist between the eyes! Every time Eddie bounces back up, Edge drills him back down into the canvas! He goes to fire him across but holds on, pulling the champion into a side Russian leg sweep and goes for the cover, getting a two count!

Chavo climbs onto the apron, but Edge knocks him right off and down to the floor! Eddie then jams a thumb into Edge’s eye and hooks his arm, runs up the corner and walks along the ropes, leaping off into a Hurricanrana! Edge is flipped right over and rolls back up to his feet, just to be hit with a standing dropkick to the mouth that sends him crashing to the outside!

As Eddie keeps the ref’s attention, Chavo is right on the attack, but Edge fights him off! Meanwhile, Eddie measures the challenger and springs himself over the top rope with a cross body, taking Edge down! He then rolls him back into the ring and climbs up to the top rope, does a shimmy and flies off with the Frog splash, but he rolls through with it as Edge rolls out of the way! As soon as Eddie turns around, Edge kicks him in the gut and goes for the Edgecution DDT, but Eddie spins out of it and pulls him into a knee to the mid section, followed up by a stalling Brainbuster that gets a one, two, TWO! Edge kicks out!

Eddie now argues with Hebner before going back to Edge, but Edge meets him with a low blow, and then an Edgecution DDT out of NOWHERE! Edge covers, hooking the leg for the one, two, TWO! Chavo breaks it up to a round of boos from the crowd! Chavo then grabs the US Championship, rolling back into the ring and measures Edge, and as soon as he stands he goes for a wicked shot, but Edge ducks beneath it and pulls him down to the mat from behind with the Edge-O-Matic! Edge now spots Eddie standing on the apron, and Eddie quickly springs up to the ropes and flies off with a Hurricanrana, but Edge counters it with a dropkick to the mid section in mid air!

As Eddie struggles up to his feet, Edge is bouncing on his toes, just waiting for him to stand, and then comes roaring in for a Spear, but Eddie sidesteps him and Edge Spears the corner hard and stumbles back into a schoolboy, and Eddie places his feet on the ropes for the one, two, TWO!

The crowd gets into this fast paced match as Guerrero now pulls Edge up, taking him over with a snap suplex and pops his hips, rolling through with a second, and then a third! Guerrero pops back up to his feet, gives the crowd a shimmy and then goes back up to the top rope, flying off with another Frog splash, but Edge rolls out of the way and Eddie gets nothing but canvas!

Both men now battle to make it to their feet, and once they do, they begin to trade blows, shot for shot until Edge ducks one and plants Eddie into the mat from behind with the Edge-O-Matic, but Chavo climbs onto the apron and Edge leaves the cover, knocking him back down to the floor!

As the Hebner looks to the outside, ordering Chavo away from ringside, Eddie picks up the US belt and waits for Edge to turn around, BLASTING him across the head with it! Just as the ref turns around and back to the action, Eddie drops the belt to the mat and throws himself down, playing possum! Hebner looks to Edge, and then to Eddie and shrugs his shoulders, starting the mandatory count!













Once the count reaches five, the crowd pops LOUDLY as JOHN CENA comes tearing down the ramp, mugging Chavo from behind and tosses him right into the ring! Hebner immediately goes to Chavo, telling him to get the hell out of there, but Chavo shakes his head and points at Cena, saying that it wasn’t his fault! Hebner forces Chavo to the outside, having had enough of the games that he and Eddie play week in and week out and goes out with him, walking him back up the ramp!


Meanwhile, as soon as Eddie gets to his feet and stops playing possum, Cena slides into the ring unseen and drills him in the gut, lifting and JAMMING him into the mat with the FU! Cena then waves his hand in front of his face before sliding to the outside and hopping the barricade, hiding in the crowd as Hebner returns to ringside!

Edge now pulls himself to his feet, using the ropes and measures the groggy Guerrero and he struggles to his. As soon as the time is right, Edge comes ROARING in with a SPEAR that takes Eddie right off his feet, planting him into the mat and hooks the leg for the one, two, THREE!


“Metallingus” blasts back over the speakers as Edge is announced as the NEW United States Champion!

Hebner hands him the belt, and Edge clutches it close to his chest before climbing a corner, raising it above his head proudly! However, he spots Cena in the front row and the Doctor motions to his waist before waving a hand in front of his face! Edge and Cena stare one another down as we go to a commercial break.
