Benoit: Last week, I had the World Championship at my fingertips. It�s been almost a year since I was last a World Champion, and I was more than ready to have it back. But my wife tells me that it wasn�t to be, what happens, happens for a reason. Well, she�s an optimist� I�m not. I believe that what happens, happens because you MAKE it happen, and Jesse Hart, YOU made it happen that I�d have to wait even longer to get that World Championship� and for that, I don�t forgive you.

Since the age of eighteen your family has been like my family. I�ve been closer to your father, your uncle Owen, your grandmother and your grandfather than I have been to my own flesh and blood. Flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood, I�ve done the absolute BEST that I could do to live up to the Hart family name, live up to being a graduate of the dungeon� to make Stu proud of the competitor that he trained me to be.

But you? You're a DISGRACE! You have no respect for this business... you have no respect for me. Bret tried to teach you respect� Lance tried to teach you respect� and I tried to teach you respect for this business, but you don�t want anything for this business, you just want to get everything from it. But tonight, Jesse� I�m not going to teach you respect, I�m going to MAKE you respect this business, and I�m going to make you respect ME. See you in the ring.

-The feed then switches and we catch up with Jesse Hart back in his locker room as he is watching the monitor, hearing Benoit�s words. He then turns the monitor off with a blank expression across his face and then just stands there for a few moments before beginning to speak to himself.-

Hart: He wants to teach me respect? He� wants to teach� me� respect?

-He inhales deeply and grabs his wrist tape, heading out of the locker room and towards the gorilla position as we take our final commercial break!-
