The lights in the arena go out as the opening drumming to Dope’s “Debonaire” pounds over the sound system, and as soon as the tempo increases, fire pyros blare up from all around the Smacktron, signaling the arrival of Jesse Hart!
Hart walks out through the smoke as the lights slowly come back on, stopping at the top of the ramp to take a look around the entire arena before making his way down the ramp and into the ring.
“Whatever” then blasts over the speakers and the crowd cheers wildly as Chris Benoit marches out from the back and directly down the ramp and into the ring, meeting Hart in the center immediately and butts chests with him!
Referee Mike Chioda calls for the bell as Hart and Benoit jaw at one another, and Jesse throws the first punch. Benoit’s head rocks back, but he sends a receipt in form of a chop across the chest that rings throughout the entire arena! Hart grabs his chest and stumbles back a step, but Benoit is right on him, drilling him with a right hand, followed up by another chop!
Jesse stumbles back into a corner, and Benoit is right there, chopping him a third time, followed by a fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and then a tenth! The crowd is buzzing as Hart’s chest turns beat red, and he stumbles out of the corner and leans against the ropes, but Benoit chops him back into the far corner and follows it up with a 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, and an 18th as Hart finally drops down to his ass!
Chioda has seen enough and steps between the two, moving Benoit back to the other side of the ring as Jesse clutches the bottom ropes for dear life, wheezing like a mother fucker! Jesse manages to pull himself to his feet, but as soon as he does so, Benoit races in and clotheslines him over the top rope and to the floor! The crowd is firmly behind Benoit as Hart lands on his feet and goes crashing back first into the barricade! As Jesse wobbles from side to side, the Wolverine comes off the far side ropes and back towards Jesse, diving through the middle ropes with a cross body, but Hart moves out of the way and Benoit goes crashing head first into the barricade!
The crowd cringes as Benoit clutches his neck, kicking his feet on the floor as Jesse falls face first down, breathing heavily and taking a moment to recover. Hart then beats Benoit to his feet and gives him a nice hard stomp to the back of the head before pulling him up, chopping Benoit this time across the chest as hard as he can! Benoit falls back into the barricade from the shot, but Hart chops him a second time, and then a third, yelling out “Take that mother f*****!” as Benoit doubles over onto a knee.
Hart then lifts Benoit right up off his feet in a bear hug, and then he rams his lower back into the barricade before rolling the Crippler back into the ring. Jesse then follows him in and kicks Benoit right across the jaw as he attempted to get to his knees, flattening him right back down into the mat. Still angry and clutching his chest from the almost 20 chops, Jesse drops down to his knees next to Benoit and pushes his head back by his chin, drilling Benoit across the chest with numerous open handed slap!
Hart then wraps his hands around Benoit’s throat, choking the life out of him and breaking at the 5 count before starting once more, but this time Chioda has to physically pull Hart away! Jesse now angrily backs Chioda into a corner with a balled up fist, warning him to only ever touch him to raise his hand after kicking ass. Jesse then goes back over towards Benoit, but Chris pops up to his feet and runs Hart over with a double forearm shot to the chest!
As soon as Jesse pops back up to his feet, Benoit kicks him in the gut and takes him over with a snap suplex! Jesse once again rebounds right back up to his feet, but this time he goes stumbling right into a German suplex! The crowd cheers loudly as Benoit holds on, rolling through and goes for a second, but Hart is fighting it with all his might! Benoit begins to hammer down onto the back of his neck, and then he takes Hart over with a second, rolling through for a third! This time, Jesse grabs a hold of the top rope, holding on for dear life, but Benoit is tenacious and he won’t give up! He begins to hammer away on Hart once more, drilling him in the back with almost a dozen forearm shots before tearing him from the ropes and takes him over with a third monster release German suplex!
Benoit now pops back up, stumbles from side to side a bit before looking down at Hart and then to the crowd. He then leans over Hart and does the snot rocket onto him before going up top! However, as Benoit sets his feet on the top rope, Jesse grabs Chioda by the back of the pants and shoves him into the ropes, tripping Benoit up! Benoit lands crotch first and his eyes bug out of his head. Hart then begins to climb the ropes himself, setting Benoit up for a Superplex! Jesse then thinks twice about it and climbs up to the VERY TOP, taking Benoit HIGH into the air and crashing into the mat with a super Superplex!!
Both men rebound a foot off the mat before lying down and out! Chioda begins his mandatory ten count, but he stops and drops down as Hart covers Benoit for the one, two, TWO! Benoit kicks out at the last possible second!
Hart grips his head angrily and pounds the mat in frustration before grabbing Benoit’s legs, stepping through for the Sharpshooter! However, Chris reaches forward and grabs Jesse by the arm, pulling him down into a Crippler Crossface to a HUGE pop from the crowd! Hart lands only a foot away from the ropes, and he quickly latches onto them, screaming at Chioda to break the fucking hold!
Benoit releases and rolls away from Jesse, sitting on a knee and waits for him to stand. Hart uses the ropes to pull himself up and then turns around, right into another chop to the chest! Jesse now quickly moves away from Benoit and into a corner, covering his chest up and cursing his fucking head off at Benoit! Chris stalks in right after him, drilling him with a right hand between the eyes, followed up by another chop to the chest! Benoit then fires Hart across, and Jesse goes crashing sternum first into the corner pads!
The impact of the hit shakes all of the ropes around the ring, and Jesse remains leaning chest first against the turnbuckle, breathing hard. Benoit takes a moment to shake his head out before racing in, but Jesse moves out of the way, taking the corner pad with him, and Benoit goes sternum first himself into the steel! As soon as he stumbles out, Jesse goes around him, hooks and JAMS him into the mat with a Full Nelson Slam!
The crowd BOOMS with boos as Hart tosses the pad out into the first row, falling armpit first onto the top rope and sets his sights on Benoit, doing the throat slash signal and gets ready for the Hart Stomp, just waiting for him to stand! The crowd continues to boo as Benoit struggles to pull himself up, breathing heavily, and as soon as he stands, Jesse moves in for the Hart Stomp, but the lights in the arena go out as the unmistakable GONG of The Undertaker pounds over the speakers!!
The crowd ERUPTS, going INSANE, and as soon as the lights come back on, the camera pans in on Hart as he stands there as white as a ghost with his eyes almost bulging out of his head and his jaw dropped! He begins to shake his head, mouthing “I buried you! I buried you!”, and as soon as he turns around, Benoit pulls him face first into the mat with the Crippler Crossface!!
Jesse immediately reaches for the ropes, but Benoit takes him rolling into the middle of the ring! Jesse scrapes and claws to reach the other set of ropes, but Benoit rolls away from them again, not once releasing the hold! Benoit SCREAMS at Hart to “TAP! TAP! TAP!”, and Jesse’s hand dangles just above the mat as he screams out in pain!
The crowd then begins to make some noise as KURT ANGLE comes racing down the ramp, climbing onto the apron and distracting Chioda AS SOON as Jesse begins to tap out repeatedly!
The crowd BOOMS with boos and begins to chant “YOU TAPPED OUT! YOU TAPPED OUT!” Benoit releases Hart and stumbles over to the apron where Angle is, jawing at him. Kurt jaws back at him and holds his arms out to the side, calling Benoit on!
Chioda gets between the two, but Benoit tosses him aside, and as soon as he approaches, Kurt grabs a hold of his head and jumps off the apron, jacking the Crippler throat first across the top rope! Benoit then goes stumbling back right into a Hart Stomp that almost takes his head off! Jesse falls back into the ropes and pushes himself off of them, dropping down onto Benoit and hooks the near leg as Chioda counts the one, two, THREE!
The fans BOOM with boos, chanting “You Suck!” towards Angle as “Debonaire” blasts over the speakers, and Bridget announces the winner as Jesse Hart!
As Jesse smirks, pulling himself up to celebrate his victory, Angle slides into the ring behind him and hoists him into an Olympic Slam, driving him into the mat to a loud pop from the crowd! Kurt then yanks his “Team Angle” shirt off and tosses it to the outside before grabbing Hart by the ankle, twisting it as far as he can, releasing a loud WOOOOOO as Hart screams out in pain, tapping furiously to another chant of “YOU TAPPED OUT!”
Evolution’s Matt Morgan now comes down to the ring, climbing onto the apron and stepping inside, coming to Hart’s aid! Angle quickly rushes at him, rocking him with a right hand, followed with a second, and then a third. Kurt then goes low, going for the Olympic Slam, but Morgan halts the move by lifting his knee into Angle’s chin!
Kurt now stumbles backwards and back towards Morgan, and Matt lifts him off the mat with a sidewalk slam, pulling him up even higher into a running Powerbomb into the mat!
The crowd then ROARS as Brock Lesnar comes racing down the ramp and into the ring, going right after Morgan! They begin to trade shots, blow for blow, with Brock now gaining the advantage! Morgan falls back into the ropes and stumbles forward, right into Brock’s arms for the F5!
However, Jesse reaches up and grabs Morgan by a leg, pulling him off of Brock’s shoulders and to the outside, escaping The Manster! Morgan goes to rush right back into the ring, but Hart holds onto his arm, trying to hold him back, but Matt pulls Jesse right down to his knees!
Jesse finally talks Morgan down, and Matt ends up pulling Jesse back up to his feet, holding him up and points back into the ring at Lesnar.
Meanwhile, as Brock stands firm in the ring, Benoit is now up and he meets Angle with a Crippler Crossface, pulling him down into the mat! Trying to play peacemaker, Brock goes to pull Benoit off of Angle, but the Rabid Wolverine now pulls Brock into the Crossface!
As Benoit goes after anyone and everyone in the ring, Hart and Morgan make their way to the back, and the shows closes with Benoit finally releasing Lesnar, the last man standing in the middle of the ring to cheers from the fans!
