“World’s Greatest” kick starts the show as the Undisputed Tag Team Champions appear at the top of the stage, accompanied by their manager, Nat Taylor! They make their way down to ringside to a pop from the crowd, ready to put their titles on the line.










“Whatever” then sounds over the speakers as Tommy Dreamer and Chris Benoit appear, marching down the ramp, ready to add another accolade to their careers. Dreamer looks to be in much better shape than when we last saw him last week as he climbs onto the apron, followed by Benoit, staring across at the champions.


Tommy and Shelton head to their respective corners as Benoit and Haas start this match off, and the bell sounds, making this match officially underway! They lock-up and battle for position, and Charlie works Benoit back first into a corner, and gives a clean break as referee Charles Robinson calls for it. They move in and lock-up once more, and this time it’s Benoit who backs Charlie up into a corner, and he as well gives a clean break… for about two seconds before he LACES a chop across Hass’ chest!

Benoit then fires repeated chops to the champion before pulling him out of the corner and fires him across, running him over with a double forearm shot to the chest! Benoit then pulls him up by the head and drills him with a head butt, sending Haas stumbling back into the opposition’s corner. Benoit tags in Dreamer and they go to town, firing Haas across and drop him with a double shoulder block. Dreamer then comes roaring in off the ropes with a rolling elbow, covering for a two count.

Tommy pulls him up and meets him with a right hand between the eyes, leaning him against the ropes; however, Charlie reverse the Irish whip and pulls Dreamer into a knee to the mid section, and then spins him into the mat with a neck breaker! As Tommy pulls himself together and back to his feet, Haas makes the hot tag in to Benjamin, and Shelton quickly leaps up to the top rope, flying off with a cross body that connects for a two count!

Right back on their feet, Benjamin is full of piss and vinegar as he works Dreamer back with right hands, but Tommy reverses the Irish whip and fires Benjamin across. Shelton comes flying off the ropes and leapfrogs over Dreamer, hitting the far side and returns, running right into a spinning spine buster by the Innovator of Violence!

Tommy quickly tags out, bringing in the Crippler to go to work. Benoit stomps down on Benjamin’s neck before pulling him up, lacing him with a STIFF chop that straightens him out. Benoit then quickly takes him over with a snap suplex and covers for a two count, but Shelton rolls his shoulder out at two. Benoit now goes over to Haas, knocking him off the apron with a back elbow shot to the head, and as the ref is distracted with Benoit, Tommy climbs the corner and steps off onto the middle ropes, flying off with an elbow drop to Benjamin’s chest!

The crowd pops for the move, but boo loudly as Dreamer rolls to the outside. This brings Nat onto the apron, yelling at the referee to keep his eyes on the match. This annoys Benoit, and he rushes over, hitting the ropes so hard that it sends Nat flying off of the apron and to the floor to a round of boos from the fans, and he comes off of them with a rolling elbow to Benjamin’s head, covering for another two count!

Benjamin is being physically dissected here by the challengers as Benoit lays the boots down onto him, tagging Dreamer back in. As Shelton crawls towards his corner on his hands and knees, Tommy races in, dropping another elbow, this time to his spine! Tommy then pulls back on Benjamin’s neck with a rear chin lock, ramming his hip into Shelton’s back. As Shelton begins to squirm free, Dreamer turns it into a front headlock, wearing the champion down.

The crowd, as well as Charlie, get behind Benjamin, cheering him on, clapping their hands and stomping their feet. Shelton makes it to his feet, still in the headlock, and lifts Dreamer up off the mat for a moment, inching towards his corner with his arm flailing behind Tommy, reaching for the tag! Dreamer stands his ground, keeping Shelton at arms length before releasing the headlock and shoving him back into his corner where Benoit clubs him upside the head! The crowd boos loudly as Dreamer races in after him, but somehow Shelton leapfrogs Dreamer, letting him run chest first into the corner, and then he does a front wards roll to his corner, making the HOT tag in to Haas!

Charlie races in a house of fire, catching Dreamer with an over the head T-Bone suplex! As Benoit races into the ring, Charlie ducks around him and takes him over with a HUE German suplex! The crowd pops and Haas gets right back to his feet, feeling it now and goes to town on Dreamer with boots to the mid section in the corner, firing him across to the other side. Charlie then races towards Benoit, clotheslining him over the ropes and to the outside!

As Dreamer stumbles in the corner, Benjamin races in with a HUGE splash, crunching him! Tommy now comes stumbling out of the corner and into a stungun by Haas, dropping him throat first across the top rope! Haas lifts Dreamer’s legs, and the crowd pops as Benjamin comes leaping in over Charlie, dropping all of his weight onto Dreamer!

As Tommy rebounds backwards off the ropes, Haas takes him over with a picture perfect German suplex, bridging up for the count! Meanwhile, Benjamin springs himself over the top rope and onto Benoit on the outside with a cross body as Robinson counts Dreamer’s shoulders to the mat for the one, two, TWO! Tommy kicks out!

Haas questions the official’s count, surprised that it wasn’t a three. Charlie and Shelton then signal to one another, and as Benjamin climbs up to the top rope, Haas lifts Dreamer onto his shoulders, LOD style! However, before Benjamin can fly off, Benoit pulls his foot out from under him, crotching him on the top rope!

Charlie then drops Dreamer and rushes Benoit, but he runs directly into a Crippler Crossface!! The crowd is in shock as Benoit pulls back on Haas’ neck, and Jax is screaming that we’re going to have NEW Tag Team Champions!

Meanwhile, Benjamin pulls himself back together and comes flying off the top rope, doing a full flip and finishes off with a guillotine leg drop across Benoit’s head! Because Benoit was seated in the Crossface position, the impact looks HARSH and Benoit screams out in pain, grabbing at his neck as he rolls to the outside, along with Benjamin.

This now leaves the two legal men, Tommy Dreamer and Charlie Haas, with Haas down on the mat, selling the effects of the Crossface, and Dreamer pulling himself back together, moving in for the kill. As Tommy stalks in after the beaten down Haas, Robinson is on the outside, checking on Benoit’s neck, and Benjamin’s leg, as both men and writhing in pain on the outside! Dreamer now pulls Charlie up and sets him up for the TommyHawk; however, the crowd then goes INSANE as JOHN CENA comes sliding into the ring, kicks Dreamer in the mid section, forcing him to drop Haas, and then lifts him onto his shoulders for the FU!!!

Cena looks down at Dreamer and waves his hand in front of his face before sliding to the outside, screaming out “Word Life, BITCH! Word Muther Fucking Life!” before the censors can catch him! As Cena escapes back out through the crowd, Robinson slides back into the ring as he spots Haas pinning Dreamer, and he counts the one, two, and THREE!


“World’s Greatest” blasts back over the speakers as Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin have retained the Tag Team Championships! Nat collects the titles and meets up with Haas and Benjamin at the bottom of the ramp, handing them the straps and congratulating them on a hard fought victory!


Back in the ring, Benoit slides into the ring on his knees, holding the back of his head, and looks over at Dreamer, asking him what happened, but Dreamer is knocked silly and sits up with his eyes crossed, not fully knowing what happened himself as we go to a commercial break!
