~When we return from the commercial break, Chris Benoit is walking backstage, rubbing the back of his head and cursing under his breath from the previous loss. As he rounds a corner, he walks right into the chest of…~













~… The World Champion, Kurt Angle! Kurt is red faced as he stands nose-to-nose with Benoit, obviously angry about something.~


Kurt: What the hell was that, Benoit? Huh? What the hell was that!?

~Benoit shrugs his shoulders.~ Angle, what the hell are you talking about? What the hell was WHAT?

Kurt: You know damn well what you did. You had NO reason to do what you did to Nat, you son of a bitch!

~Benoit holds his hands up.~ Whoa, whoa, whoa… I didn’t do anything, your little ring girl there was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Kurt: Don’t give me that bullshit, Chris, you knew damn well what you were doing.

Benoit: And what if I did, Kurt? What’re YOU going do about it? Nothing, just like you’ve done since I arrived to Smackdown.

Kurt: And what’s that supposed to mean?

Benoit: What that means, Kurt, is that you’ve been DUCKING me since I got here, THAT’S what it means.

Kurt: Oh REALLY now…

Benoit: Really.

Kurt: Well how about we fix my “ducking” you right here next week, what to you have to say about that?

~Benoit leans forward, forehead to forehead with Angle.~ I say bring it on, champ… if you’ve still got the strap by next week.

Kurt: Oh you bet your butt I will, and I’ll still have it after next week too. Oh It’s True.

~The camera then switches feeds as Angle and Benoit stare one another down, the intensity between the two extremely visible.~

~We catch up with Sable, the Executive of the Smackdown! Women’s division, as she is seated on her desk in her office with her legs crossed, leaning back with her hands on the desk behind her, watching the monitor.~

~An outraged shriek is then heard from the open doorway, and the camera focuses in on none other than Angel Williams and Alexis.~











Angel: JAZZ has a TITLE SHOT?!?!

Alexis: After all the CRAP we’ve been through, she just walks in and gets a TITLE SHOT?!

~Sable uncrosses her legs, and then quickly re-crosses them.~ Ladies… and I use that term loosely… look at you, and look at Jazz. It was a no-brainer.

Angel: I am so SICK OF THIS!!! We are GOOD COMPETITORS!!!

Sable: Oh, are you now? Well, how would you like to prove it tonight?

~Angel and Alexis nod their heads as Sable continues.~ Against Jazz, in a handicap match!

~Alexis’ eyes go wide and she’s about to mouth off to Sable, but Angel grabs her arm to silence her.~

Angel: That’s FINE! And we’ll prove that at least one of us deserves a title shot when we BEAT her!
