The test today showed nothing as to inflammation that would cause the fever that Dale is running.

Biopsies were taken but the results won't be back for a few days.

The doctor suggested we set up an appointment with an internal disease specialist for further tests.

We also are in contact with Vanderbilt and have appointments on the 14th and 15th of November.

These will be to her lung doctor and her dermatologist/internal medicine specialist.

Surely one of these can get a handle on what is going on.

I will keep you posted as things develop.

Dwight

I'm sure you're both worn to a frazzle. We'll continue the prayers, Dwight, that the results come back with something theycan do to alleviate her from this persistant fever. Thanks for the update. xo

And the prayers are reciprocated for you and your wife.

One of her doctors at Vanderbilt suspects systemic inflammation and has upped her dosage of prednisone accordingly.

This communication with her doctor was done via e-mail. Vanderbilt is one great hospital. They set us up with an e-mail account to reach her doctors at any time.

All hospitals should offer such service.

Our next appointments at Vanderbilt are the 14th and 15th of Nov. One to her dermatologist/internal medicine specialist and the other to her lung doctor for her COPD.

Dale has COPD, too? That poor woman has so much to deal with. She must be very very strong. Bless her heart.

Crohn's,
COPD
Grave's Disease (Thyroidism, hyper)
Severe Arthritis
Atrial Fibrilation (sp.?)
Mytro Valve Prolapse

The last two brought on by medications probably.

She seldom complains.
She is a much better trooper than I am.

She definitely is a trooper, but so are you. She couldn't have been more blessed than to have you caring for her. You're BOTH troopers! Keepon fighting and praying. I will pray harder and more often in the day. Love you both in God.
