Had a visiting minister who is in the Rock of Ages Prison Ministries whom we support as part of our missions.

He is a dynamic preacher and has committed much scripture to memory. He is enlightening as well as very interesting in his approach in preaching.

How was your day?

Thanks for asking. Went to church early for a pancake breakfast put on by the youth to raise funds for a project. Then went to adult Sunday school (we call it Community) and after that attended second service. Heard an excellent sermon on Luke 19. Stopped at the grocery store on the way home and bought some of their home made chicken soup for lunch. Quite good. Had a relaxing afternoon at home and did a couple of loads of laundry. Talked to quite a few people on the phone including my sister in Orlando FL. I fell asleep after reading my devotional for today from Jesus Calling but got woken up by a political survey phone call. We're having a primary election here on Tuesday. So that's the report from here. Have a Good Week!

Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday!

If we don't praise Him the rocks will cry out!

Yes but it was on ALL of Luke 19 and some of Luke 18 which I had never tied in before - Jesus healing the blind man on the way into Jericho. Jesus and Zaccheus and also the parable of the talents. All of this immediately precedes the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem.

Another Sunday when I stayed home because I am still unable to climb the stairs to the sanctuary. My wonderful wife hasn't been able to attend for a long time because she fell out of bed about a year ago and broke several vertabre in her back. We talked about it this afternoon while we were in the car and we hope to be able to attend the Easter Sunday service next Sunday. Please pray for us.

I think it is time for your Church to invest in a handicap accessible ramp.

We installed ramps several years ago and if some of the members are experienced in this area it can be done for the cost of the materials.

Gerry, does your Church not have handicapped accessible entry?

If not I think it is about time your Church invested in this.

It need not cost a great deal especially if the men of the Church provide the labor.

It's nice to see everyone here--except our missing sister, Connie. That girl has to be reminded about us from time to time. *-)
I'll join you in singing Hosanna's to the Lord, Hillbilly!

Caren, it sounds like you had a great day of services, today. Gerry, I'll pray that you and Pat can make it to Easter Sunday services.

Tnank you. We need all the prayers that we can get. Pat still has two surgeries to go. She has a large bunnion on her foot which has to be surgically removed and she has to have surgery one eye. She has cataracts and the lens needs to be replaced. It is all cloudy.

I hope that the surgery will give Pat a better quality of life and mobility, as well as improved vision. She got hit with a double whammy!

Thank you again. Those plus her back injury which led to her spine surgery back in July. It has been a bad year for her and I'm still recovering from my fall back in March. Once again, thank all of you.
