We just never realized there were so many good groups in the area. We are going to get a season ticket for next year. And the people at St Andrews church are just the nicest folks who great you at the door with a smile and welcome you to the evening's entertainment. The church even has a "food court" set up where you can go early and have fellowship with others and eat a taco salad or brat or a bowl of chili and the most delicious iced brownies ever. It is just such a rewarding experience each time we go. And this year we're finally going to go to their Christmas performance put on by the church choir. They have live animals walking across the stage and the music is supposed to be just breathtaking.
Do your daughters and their hubbies still sing in their group? I really liked their CD and cassette you sent me. Have they recorded any more? Have they ever asked Pop to sing bass? *-)

Sorry but no. Annette and her husband are in Missoula Montana.

They have almost become nomads. Bryan's plant closed in Jackson and they moved him to Dallas. From Dallas they moved to Fort Smith Arkansas and now they are up in Montana and next to the Idaho border.

Bryan still plays anything with strings on it and Annette was still singing with him for a while when they joined a Church close to Dallas but I don't think they have gotten established in a Church in Missoula yet. They have been there less than 2 months.

Danny and Linda still sing occasionally but not as it used to be. Their oldest Daughter just got married and is headed to Norfolk Virginia Her husband is in the Navy.

They never did get around to any more recordings.

Thanks for asking and it sounds like you have a lot of joyful experiences in store for you in the future at gospel singings.

Yes, we really enjoy the shows and the audience participation. Gospel audiences all sing good! Grin. One of the neatest songs the Lesters sang was one using every book of the Bible--OT and NT. You've probably heard it. It was really good. 8-)
