It not only has the most detailed prophesies of the Bible but it also is very revealing as to human nature and character. All of us can weigh or measure our own faith and service against the lives of the players in the Book of Daniel. Each person mentioned has characteristics we might try to emulate or shun but as we read we usually weigh ourselves by what they did in their respective circumstances. May we all ever stand true to our Saviour no matter what the circumstances we find ourselves in.
