In reply to: HIllbilly 's message, "Genesis 24 vss. 54-61 Post 126" on 21:28:54 02/07/10 Sun

This part of it rings so true:
"The plea from family is wait a while, you don't have to rush into this. Eliezer, on the very next morning after his arrival and presentation of his mission says "time to go". Family said what's the rush? Give her a few days; at least ten for her to have her last flings and enjoyment of what she is leaving behind. This is the way the devil hinders people from becoming Christians when the Spirit is drawing a person to Christ. He will say what is the rush. There is plenty of time. Go ahead and finish sowing your oats then you can become a Christian."

Never gets here. This is the procrastinator's home turf.

As a preacher said one time: "You kill time and it will kill you".

As the Bible says: "behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) (2 Cor. 6:2)
"

I'm so glad that accepting Jesus as my Lord is one of the few things I didn't procrastinate on. There is hope for me.
