more and more to an Islamic anti-Christ. As shown in the location of the 4 kingdoms that come from the break up with the Greek empire the anti-Christ will almost certainly arise from one of these areas.

As to Mr. Richardson's assumption; most of what I read I agree with. I do however think he has misread in one area.

He states that Rome could not be it because it never defeated Babylon. I don't read where there is a requirement that Babylon be defeated by the nation the anti-Christ comes out of. The order of the nations are given and we know that Babylon was defeated by Media/Persia and subsequently Greece defeated Media/Persia but then we are not told that Rome defeated Greece. The Roman Empire arose and much of the Middle East was part of that Empire. Technically the anti-Christ could come out of a nation that was once part of the Roman Empire and still be one of the Islamic nations of today.

While I tend to agree with his conclusion I don't necessarily agree with all the points he uses to arrive at the conclusion.
