Author: Clarence R. Sullivan, Jr. (sully) '64 (the Santa Clara Family)
Subject: Shaw, Casanova and Pat Malley could finally RIP

Let's Hope for a Jesuit who played a contact sport for the next President. My Grandfather Bart taught in 1911, his boys fought each other. His Grandson Bill '54 all norcal boxer for SCU. My brother Fletch '52 played soccer. I was to scrawny to contribute other than helping to steal the St Mary's Bell off their campus in 1961. All my relatives went to school with the Bannans. I did at SCU. Buck was named after his dad who was at SCU with mine. Phil was a great end and boxed alongside Willett..All American.

My Uncle Colonel Buckley, taught us. Maybe his Grand Newphew, Patriot QB Tommy Brady would of come to SCU if we had had a football program. Lots of guys did from Serra..Garibaldi, Cullen, etc.

My eldest daughter, Professor Sullivan, Ph.D. teaches Psych
at SCU. Since it drove me nuts to have no football team, like it did my Dad '22 and brother, she got the Doctorate to help treat her father.

All the Best..and anything I can do to help.

Sully
