Actually, Berkeley High School does not have a rugby team. The high school girls' rugby team folded because of lack of participation this year; and the Berkeley Rhinos, the boys' rugby team, is a under-19 club which draws from 3 or 4 high schools. Almost no one other than the families of the players attend the Rhinos' games, by the way.

Although I shall admit that rugby does grow on you the more you watch it and my grandson does enjoy playing it, it truly doesn't qualify as a major sport in the minds of most potential and incoming college sutdents. His first love is football as it is for most of his teammates who play on high school football teams.
