I have a female boxer mixed with lab, and yesterday her stomach was huge and swollen, and its still the same, does that mean that she is pregnant, cause also she sleeps all the time now

I am a GSD breeder for many years now and a good favorable sign that a female bitch is pregnent is her nipples getting big. I know nothing else that would increase the size of a dogs nipples besides if the female has a false pregnancy.

I also have a female schanzer and just this summer she looked and had all the signs of being pregnant, but as I was walking her outside she started to give birth to what looked as a pup in the sack but it drew back inward of her and I rushed her to the vet and its like my female all the sudden was no longer pregnant. So I am giving anyone the possible signs and all to tell if your female dog is pregnant and if they may have a false pregnancy.

Is it possible that a dog could never give birth and is still pregnant from last heat cycle?

My dog has nipples on her stomach and we have had 2 different male dogs around her in the past 3 months but we cant tell if she is pregnant. Any sugestions?

i took in a stray who was pregnant and she had them in late september so she had to have went into heat in july.
so now i have adopted her but she is still very swollen in the birth area nipples have shrunk some but she is coming up on her 5th month so she could already have been back in heat and i might not have noticed because she has around 3 miles of our land she likes to take walks in . i have 2 other males but they just sniff and not try to be agressive yet. how do i tell this early if she is very early expecting so soon after sept birth ? please help

your dog could be getting her period soon- my cocker spaniel got hers at about 8 months of age. But check with the vet anyway.

Why was your 6 mo. old spaniel hanging with your male.Did you watch her at all times. Better call the vet. 6 mo.old is entirely too young to have babies.I suggest you get one of them fixed.

I'M SORRY BUT YOUR COCKER IS A LITTLE TOO YOUNG TO GET PREGNANT HOWEVER SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE WENT IN HEAT YET. SO GIVE IT SOME TIME AND CHECK WITH A VET I HAVE COCKERS AND THE FIRST HEATING SECTION WAS FROM 10- 12 MONTHS OF AGE.

I have a jack russel and she is about 8 mouths and i have noticed that she has gottin hella fat!!! I think that she is pregnant but not to sure. how could i find out?

At 6 months old I do not think she is bred. Usually a cocker does not go into heat before 8 months of age. I have seen one or two go in early but not often. I would watch her for a temp drop and heavy panting if you are seriously thinking a dog got to her.

i just went outback to feed my dogs. my female dog has almost like a pooch down by her private area that ive never seen before. is this a sign of her being pregnant?

my female schnauzer that is 1 1/2 years old has breed with my male schnauzer that was 7 to 8 months old.is there a good possability that he got her pregnant at that age
