In my experience, their on-stage antics don't mean much. However, if you are standing at the front of the stage where they can see you, and they are interested, they will find you after the show (IF it's a small venue.) Otherwise it's hard to tell.

I had one instance where the drummer for a european metal band told me, after I asked him what he was doing that night, "I'm going to probably have sex on the bus." And I was the only one he was talking to. I had no clue if he was *inviting* me, or had plans with someone else... It's so hard to tell. The only way to know is to come right out and tell them what you want.
