在「老鼠愛上貓」與「百年好合」兩部由香港與大陸共同合資拍攝的電影，在大陸開出長紅票房後，似乎為亟欲尋求奧援與出路的香港電影，找到一條活路。在香港與大陸內地都具知名度的趙薇，再加上不隨便漲價的作風，便成為此波香港與大陸合拍電影的搶手貨。

除了已經開拍的「炮製女朋友」，趙薇手上目前還有三部以上的片約，接續上門的拍片邀約，似乎也一掃之前「日本軍裝」風波所帶來的穢氣，趙薇的人氣，突然又變得十分旺盛。負責處理趙薇經紀的陳蓉，對趙薇突然又成為香港、大陸兩地片商的搶手貨，坦言有些意外。據悉，趙薇目前的片酬約在港幣 100 萬元 (450 萬台幣 )左右，難能可貴的是，成為搶手貨的趙薇，似乎十分珍惜這次的好運，並不隨便喊價。
