I've been told that things got heated last night and the 'Dan Thread' was deleted. I've been told several things - including that I am a woman (?!). I don't know if any of them are true (well except the woman one which just made me laugh. I've been called a few things over the years and I may be bi but seriously!). Allow me to clear some things up...though I want to try and be as brief as possible as I am a fairly private person.

My name is Tobey. I am a 31 year old bi male and I really liked Dan in 'Dancing on Ice', as many of you here also do. I work in the fashion industry, and have also had a few jobs working in the entertainment industry in a fairly low key capacity. I spend alot of time travelling, so I've only been able to see the 'Hot Ice' show twice, but I also thought it was fantastic. A friend of a friend told me about this forum so I came along and read up on the posts before joining. I was hoping to chat with like minded people and maybe even make a few friends who share similar interests. However, that clearly hasn't happened.

The fashion and entertainment worlds are full of people who are just ready to cause trouble, stab you in the back, or completely screw you over. It's a dangerous and tough world and being part of it leaves you explosed to all kinds. A few years ago I was involved in a situation where someone started to talk about their relationship with me as being more than it was (I knew this person in a professional capacity only). This person said alot of things about me that weren't true, that caused quite a few problems and that really upset me. Worse still - it upset my family and that just wasn't on.

PamS - I'm not saying you are or ever have been a mallicious person. My first comment was genuinely sarcastic rather than nasty. I didn't mean it to seem any other way. Your response to it was to be immediately bitchy and that hit a nerve, as did the things you had said abuot Dan which, regardless of anything else, and not wanting to debate the issue - to me - didn't seem to be being written as a joke. They seemed serious TO ME. To then say that everyone else is being mean about me behind me back was not really necessary but I chose to ignore it. Yes I came back with an even more sarcastic comment which could have been taken as being mean, but I guess these things happen and it's done.

I apologise to the Admin staff for any trouble this caused and to anyone else who ended up getting involved. I didn't come here to cause trouble and I have decided not to remain on the forum. There you have it. Take care and best wishes to everyone.
