Subject: Learning here, but what is a seed vessel? Sharon or anyone?

We are on week three lesson and doing the science day 3. We made our chart with leaves, stems, roots, flowers, seeds, and than wasn't sure what a seed vessel was. This I looked up in my books on plants ect, but couldn't come up with what we would eat being this.

Can anyone help?
In our chart we have
leaves-parsley, mint tea, letucce
seed- peas, corn, string beans
roots- carrots, turnips
stems-ruburb, potatoe, pepper
Flowers-cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage

Are we on the right track here. I don't think I learned this in school or else couldn't remember the harder ones. We are still working on this, but decided to post to make sure we are on the right track.
Thanks,
Jody
