Subject: Geography study idea for Vol. 2

I know Sharon wrote that there won't be any Geography in Vol. 2, but why couldn't we discuss where the inventor was born and mark it on a map? We could also mention where the artists and musicians were born. This would be such an easy thing to do and would keep the study of geography going until Vol. 3 when we take our "trip around the world!" As I mentioned before, I plan on doing lapbooks for each unit and Dinah Zike's Big Book of Projects has reproducible maps in the back of the book. She doesn't have individual country maps (but does include state maps, continents, world, etc.), but I would just have my kids trace a country map from a larger wall map and include that in the lapbook.
