We haven't made any lapbooks yet, but you could include a map of Florida, marking the capital and other "famous" cities. Include a small book listing year they became a state, state motto, flower, bird, tree, etc. Maybe a small book discussing important people from your state. How about a small information sheet on St. Augustine, the oldest city in the continental US? or a graph showing the biggest industries of Florida, using percentages, of course!

The list is really endless - it just takes a bit of imagination to decide which "minit" book to make up for the information at hand. I joined a Yahoo group called ZikeFans and have been learning lots of good information. You can join by emailing this addy: Zikefans-subscribe@egroups.com
