Subject: Honey-Roasted Pork Spareribs

5 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
8 pounds spareribs
1 cup honey
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar or white vinegar

In a large stockpot,combine water and salt.Bring to a boil and add =
ribs.
Simmer for 1 hour,or until ribs are tender.Remove from pot and drai=
n well.
Arrange on broiling tray.Combine honey and vinegar and brush half th=
e
mixture over the ribs.Broil 6 to 8 inches from flame for about 10 mi=
nutes,
then turn ribs and reglaze with remaining honey mixture. Broil 15 min=
utes
longer.Makes 4 servings.
