"I didn't know you of all people would be working with dragons, Talon." Serra added after a long pause, to vanish the silence. Rodney nodded while he finished his drink and asked for another. "Yes, for some reason I pictured you working for the ministry or something." Rodney grinned, as Serra chuckled. "The ministry? No, not Talon. I can imagine him going rampage in his office." Serra said, recalling how cramped the offices were in that place.

Rodney reached for her hand again and took it. Acting like nothing out of the usual happened, he took another swig of his drink. Serra, on the other hand wished he and Talon would suddenly leave so she could talk to Scott. Why am I such an idiot? Liking a guy and dating his best friend was not a smooth move. And she felt so horrible about what she was doing to Rodney. Even though he stupidly had no clue. The only one who did know about Serra and Scott was James who happened to walk in on them during a makeout session. But James, being the good friend that he was promised to never tell. But Serra had no clue where he was now. Strange how such close friends didn't keep in touch after school?
