Hun, Scott's not doing so hot either. Since leaving the pub the other night, he's been in a foul mood, one that either turns him into the bastard of the year or put him as a good contender against the Goth kids for the person holding the most amount of angst. That's not to say he's on the brink of a mid-life crisis or anything, he's just a little bummed and ticked off, mostly at himself. He totally fucked up his and Rodney's friendship, got Talon pissed off for his little tantrum at the end and Serra...well, let's not go there because then the angst side will take over. So why did he call her and invite her over? To make amends, of course.

At the moment Serra arrived, he was in the middle of breakfast (brunch, I guess?), and watching MTV. He's half-Muggle, so he grew up with some of this stuff, so there we go. He's modern, cha. He was just scraping the last of the cereal out of the bowl when the door knocked. Ooooh, boy. Here we go he thinks and, now realising what a bad idea this was (and thanking some sort of god that he had decided to get dressed before breakfast; Serra doesn't need to see his pyjamas), reluctantly got up and headed towards the door. A pause before opening, but he does.

"Oh, so you decided to come? Uh, thanks?" Oh, Jesus Christ. That was SMOOTH.
