I just came back from The Riverhead Town Board meeting and they decided to table the issue until tomorrow morning. Most of the people in the room were not in favor of these two concerts but there were a few us who spoke up in favor of good music and people. There will be a press conference tomorrow concerning field day permits. The county and the state could have solved this whole problem by giving up the police required instead of playing politics. Things look better for Bonnaroo right now than they do for Field day. The promoter's attorney did mention still having the concert this weekend but somewhere else. None of us seemed to know what that was all about. For all you Bonnaroo fans coming for field day I hope better heads prevail before this weekend.
