.x. he called, hoping to get there attention and cause a diversion. in the heat of the moment he realized how tattered his clothes were; there was no way he'd pull this off-wait. suddenly, an idea came to him. he broke into a run, changing manuevers, and faking gasps for air as he ran. arriving at the other fourteen year olds feet, he dropped to his knees, forehead to the ground. .x.
"sir, permission to speak, your worship."
.x. he hoped to draw away the foursome's attention. if this worked, he had a feeling he would. from the corner of his eyes he watched Lily. after all, he'd licked royal's feet often enough when he was younger to know how to play the part. .x.
