In reply to: Referee Demon 's message, "3. Briar vs. Krim" on 14:54:36 05/29/03 Thu

"angry as the boiling waters as the sea,
alone as the grey wolf on the hillock."

____

>> down a deer's trail, a black horse and rider emerged from around a bend at a canter. the mount was bridleless and saddleless, steered only by leg aids and word of mouth, but by some signal he halted before the demon. he tossed his proud head fearfully, champing his teeth and stamping skittishly, shying to the side as Briar dismounted.
>> not a beginner's horse-yet the unruly outside hid a trust he had in the boy.
>> a snort bugled from Thief's mouth as he shook his mane again. his master patted him twice on his nape before nodding shortly to the develish creature who was to be the judge and stepping a bit farther into the clearing.
>> those with bloodlines of wylde magic were hotblooded, hotheaded, and did not plan ahead, instead improvising with sheer wit and spur of the moment ideas. so, from what was visible he appeared unarmed except for a larger then average dagger at his side. but a theif has many pockets-and not all weapons one carries are made of steel.

[occ-umm...that was weird. ^__^ anyways...he doesn't know he had magic...but i got a feeling if he's gonna do ok, i'm gonna hafta bring it in. oh yeah, changed his horse's name again to Prince of Thieves, but Briar calls him Thief for short...i saw it on a horse name plate on display in a tack shop. ^__^]
