[occ-Lmao! anyway, real quick-the other Holes site you joined (neat post by the way) need members, so if you wanted to advertise...I did on a couple of sites...grr...three more people till it opens. -shrugs-]

___

[ his breathing and the soft sounds that pleasently drifted through the wood was all Briar heard for a moment, and it was a bit after Lily started to play before his brain registered the tune. it was lulling, and he struggled to recall when he'd heard it before. climbing to his feet, he struggled inerlly (sp?) for a moment, replaced the gold band to his pocket, and rested against the oak's trunk to regain his composure. then the theif followed the song for a not-so-far distance and came upon the girl. afraid he'd scare her if he squatted down nearby and yelled 'hi'-and halway tempted to do so-he stopped a couple of yards back, waiting for the music to finish.

"Lily?

[ he called her name as gently as he could, deciding he didn't want to spook her, if that was possible. Briar had been considering something along the lines of "where'd you learn to play"-again, hoping to make her jump-but had caught sight of the wet track that ran down her cheek, and actually started to feel slightly nervous. he probably should have never said anything and just left...

___

[occ-i think he heard her play once before, 'cause i remember the dragon flute (it was missing a leg then-dunno if it still it). also, not trying to be a butt-head...but wouldn't it be 'oriental ex-princess' instead of 'ex-oriental princess' just cause otherwise it sounds like she stopped being japenese or something...eh, i have no life. -sighs-]
