She wakes me up
every morning with her warm hands
That slides gently across my cold face
Gradually waking me.
No words exchanged. Just stares. With a gentle smile.
Though I can't see the details of her face
Though I don't know her name
Though I can't see the contour of her hand
Though I don't know her name
Like a stranger who greets each other every morning
Probably the only family in an alien country.
