Subject: lives in the same room
a lizard ran across the wall
i think the lizard is lonely in this empty house
always running when it sees me
dashing from one room into another
looking for a home
i wonder where it sleeps
perhaps on my pillow when i lay asleep
or in my shoe
awaiting for me when i leave
the lizard is shy
i wish he would stop
so that i can say hi
then i can ask
who accompanies him
when i roam the streets
