thanx for the complements everyone. here's chapter 2. i think that i messed up on some stuff but oh well we'll see how this goes....
Chapter 2
We were all in Omari’s Expedition riding towards my house when O asked me “before we get to your house, tell me, do you want to go to the movies, rent a movie, what, Ra?”
“hmmm … well I wanna see a movie but it doesn’t matter where we watch it.”
O drove us to the blockbuster and we searched for movies.
“I still haven’t seen the Fast and the Furious.” Rika said.
“You haven’t? I love that movie!’ I replied
“Yeah I like the part when they first start drag racing and that white dude uses his NOS or what ever they call it and like blows his engine. Then at the end where Vin Disel and that white guy, the same one that blew his engine, race and Vin Disel’s car flips over cuz he found out the white dude was a undercover cop” Raven explained
“Thank you, Raven for ruining the whole movie for me. I hope Training Day is good I heard that was hot.”
“Yeah, it is. That’s the one where Denzel dies at the end” Mario said with a huge smile on his face. We all just laughed.
Rika got mad. “Mario! Dang. Just forget it”
“You still wanna see Training Day and Fast and the Furious?
“Yeah get the movie.”
“What about… 13 Ghosts? Monster Ball? Ali? Not Another Teen Movie? Ooo or House Party 4” Monee suggested “Ive seen that so many times”
“So why do you want to see it again?” Jarell asked, “I don’t know about those cats in there but I hear the movie is cool.”
“Well I like it and Im getting it”
While they were chatting about what movies to get, O and I were strolling around the store.
“I don’t like none of these movies, O.”
“You got to like one of them. What about Rush Hour 2?”
“What about we forget about the movies and you and me talk”
“About…”
“Us. I can’t believe you got me this ring! I mean its not like I don’t like it, its beautiful. It’s the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.”
“I really want us to be forever. Your different from the other girls I dated and skinner too.” O said laughing
“Stop makin' fun of my figure” I kissed him “ seems like you boys never get tired of having fun. Like that trick in the ….:”
“ I told you I had nothing to do with that one”
“I know but still, when yall gonna quit?”
“Never know... You’ll never know Ra” he chuckled
“Whateva O”
“Shit you act like we the only ones. We haven’t forgot that trick you and Monee pulled.”
“Oh… the time we hid all you guys good clothes and all yall had to wear was pink, red, green, orange, and yellow? I cant believe you had a pink shirt. Then we called yall skittles ” I giggled
“Yeah that ‘taste the rainbow’ shit … not funny” I was still laughing “Rashida!”
“Im sorry, ‘mari baby”
“Hey love birds” Druex called out “were getting in the line to rent now”
“We’re coming Druex!” I called back “Come on, Skittles” I pulled Omari by the arm to the line.
“What you got? House Party 4, Training Day and Ali?” Omari asked
“You know it!” Rika replied.
“Yall check this out” Druex yelled. “ Serial Killer on the Lose! 5 Found Dead. I know people in LA were crazy but damn”
“Rika, Rashida its near your house. In the and around the Carson area 5 have been killed.” Jarell read. “This killer is still on the loose. If you have any information call 1800 CRIMESTOPERS. They aint playin' ”
“Oh my goodness. You guys can still come over ri?”
“You got food??” Mario asked
“Yes.”
“Ill stay for a bit”
“You know Ill come, Ra” O said.
“Im callin' momma” Rika started dialing on her cell “ Im staying over your house, Taija.”
“Cant stay over my house,” Monee told Rika “Im stayin' with Raven.”
“I thought that was next week cuz I was stayin' with Rika and Ra ra. Right? I aint scarred of no killer”
“Okay look!” Jarell butted in “Who’s paying?”
“I am” Rika answered.
“This how we gonna handle this, everybody is going to Rashida and Rika’s place and we gonna chill and fun cuz its Ra’s birthday. Then we’ll be out.” Rell had everything planned out, which was weird cuz he could figure that out that fast but has trouble figuring anything else out, things like homework.
“Maybe we can fun, this isn’t going to ruin things” Rika said with a smirk “My dad and mom told me they will be out of town till tomorrow!”
“Hey! Party ova they house!” Druex shouted
“Lets go get this party started then!!”
O drove us to my house and we popped in Training Day into the DVD player. Naturally, Mario was the first to ask for food.
“Psst. Psst. Ra, where your chips at?”
“In the cabinet next to the door to the garage.”
“Cool.” Mario left sucking his teeth and he made a lot of noise before he found what he wanted then he came back “Psst… Psst!”
“WHAT… what could you possibly want now?!!!”
“You got some soda?”
“Yes, you know where it is.”
“But I wanted vanilla coke. You got some?”
“Yeah its on the fridge door.”
“Thanx”
Mario was finally came back and we heard glass shatter from next door.
“What was that?!” Monee jumped
“Don’t worry about it baby” Jarell comforted her, but there was more glass shatter.
“Rell, there it goes again.”
“Dang, there’s nothing to worry about, scary!” Obviously he was too into the movie to care.
“No I dunno … I don’t like the sound of this. Glass doesn’t shatter for no reason at 8:30pm at night” Rika said scarred as well
“Rika’s right. Im scarred too Mario.” Raven cuddled close to Mario.
“Me 3 ” I grabbed Omari’s arm
“What are you scarred of?” Druex said with a puzzled look on his face.
“Yeah, maybe they’re having a fight or something. No one screamed ‘Bloody Murder’ so everything is cool” O tried to confide in us every thing was alright and were cool for a minute till we heard a lot of noise, a scream then everything got quiet. No noises, nothing. We looked at each other.
“Is it okay to be scared now?”
