I have an appt. to drop off my truck tomorrow morn. for some unusual issues..
I've got a gurgling/sucking sound that can only be heard from in the cab w/the doors shut. It doesn't matter if the air is on/off, but the engine must be fully warmed up..the service advisor thinks it may be some bypass valve they had problems with in the late 90's. If they have to tear the dash out there will be problems. It also comes and goes at dif. angles and around curves.
The engine fan also runs right up to ~45mph when the engine is cold, and the engine whistles around 2500rpm when warm...stupid crap like that.
Lastly, I've got a clunking from the front pass. side. I notice the foil drip pan is loose under the air cond./computer area...maybe its that, but its probably suspension.

Can anyone else relate to any of this?

Other than the engine's minor problems, I love the truck. Its a lot more practical than my '00 ext cab, and thanks to the great brakes, its stops just as well (my favorite part), even if it doesn't have quite the performance. I don't know where in the heck I'm going to find a place to install new urethane bushings, but it needs 'em. And, I keep going back and forth about whether I'll buy it at the end of the lease, but if I do, I'll look to put a cap on it...and remove the running boards (GMAC says I can't do that while its leased unless I store them and put them back on before I return it-too much of a pain)

Sorry for the novel.

-Derek
