Provo a restare legato alle cose tecniche, anche se č difficile non sentirsi demoralizzati da prove tipo "italiane in coppa europa" di qualche anno fa.
Secondo me ci sono due grossi problemi:
1) la difesa al largo: per le qualitą (tecniche e mentali) dei nostri giocatori la difesa "rovesciata" (con l'ala che va sul penultimo uomo e l'estremo sull'ultimo) non č efficace e, anzi, fa danni. Giocatori con qualitą maggiori alle nostre fanno quello che vogliono. Storicamente l'Italia ha sempre difeso meglio "scivolando".
2) l'attacco dei trequarti: non ci sono giocate che sfruttino le (poche) qualitą dei nostri giocatori. Secondo me ci vogliono schemi con pochi passaggi e maggiore profonditą in modo da lanciare nel mezzo del campo i chili dei vari Stoica, Mazzuccato, Peens, ecc.
Questo dovrebbe portare anche una maggior chiarezza nelle linee di sostegno. Chissą che in questo modo ci sia meno gente in giro per il campo!
Sta di fatto che siamo molto indietro. Stiamo puntando tutto sull'aspetto fisico senza pensare che per giocare a rugby ad alto livello ci vogliono anche tanta tecnica e tanta tattica.
