Subject: A day I will never forget.
That awful day, I pray something like that never happens again. My husband, thank God, is a survivor of that tragic day. He was at work on the 97th floor of the 2nd building that was hit. Someone yelled out "get out" & he did. He grabbed his briefcase, walked down, then took the elevator down & left the building. Took the S.I. ferry to S.I. where his brother lived. I did not hear from him for over an hour, not knowing if he was alive or not. Over 90 people were lost from his office. We had to relocate to Florida since that is where his job relocated to. We were very fortunate as to the outcome of that day, emotionally, not that great. We had to leave family & friends & our wonderful New York behind. We know no one here. I miss NY but it will never be the same. We were all touched by that tragic day. We must try to learn something from it - hatred does not solve anything, it destroys.
God Bless America.

Uh....what "exactly" is it that you seem to think "we" must try to learn? I believe I learned ALL I need to know on September 11th, 2001. I suppose there are some that feel the need to sit around the campfire with our enemies and sing Kumbaya, while trying to appease and blame "us" (America) for the brutal attack that killed 3,000 innocents. I'm not one of them. I believe that you seek out evil and destroy it.I am however an openminded guy. Perhaps you could "enlighten" us.

mitch you have hit the nail on the head. some liberals have their heads buried in the 1960's and think the terrorist problem can be solved the same way as the cold war or third world poverty. those days are gone. no regime in the past that has committed genocide was "negotiated or appeased" out of it; the only way to deal with the terrorists is to kill them before they kill us. they are provided support by every arab country. they go under different names but they are all allied in their effort to murder as many non-muslims as they can. the nitpicking over whether there is "smoking gun" evidence linking iraq to al-qaeda is irrelevant. the terrorists intentionally operate under different names so that they won't be identified as al-qaeda or some other group. the names don't matter, they are all united in their effort to kill us.
to the person who wrote that "hatred does not solve anything" - neither does leaving them alone and waiting for their next attack.

Oh yeah...forgot something. Penny, this is a link to a short "movie". Raise the volume and watch it. In fact, all the "Penny's" in america should watch this clip. I'm sure you will "LEARN SOMETHING" from it.
<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://home.comcast.net/~sept11/">http://home.comcast.net/~sept11/</a>
Just do me a favor. After viewing it, please reply to this message and tell us all if you still feel like sitting around the campfire, singing Kumbaya with our enemies while you try your damndest to understand their angst and belittle the country of your birth for being so "arrogant" and inviting the attacks.
Ya know Penny, 9/11 was our generations "Day of Infamy". These bastards (if they couldn't convert you to Islam) would like nothing more than to slit your daughters throat in front of you and dance gleefuly as her arterial blood pulsated from her Carotoid artery until her death. Then, before slowly and painfuly torturing and killing the rest of your family, they would sodomize you and your sons in front of your duct-taped husband. So feel free to let me know what you think we should try to learn. Hey Penny, have a nice day. Remember to turn down NPR and CNN before viewing the movie clip.

"Hatred"....HMMMMMMMM......Let's think about that word for a minute...ok, I thought about it and I even looked it up in the dictionary.
Now my question to you Penny is, Why the HELL must WE try and "learn" something from 9/11?????????????????????????????
I'm sorry, but maybe I was in a coma for the last 100 years or so, but when exactly did America do anything AT ALL, EVER, out of "hatred" to any Arabs or to any of their countries??????
America is not about "hatred" so I DO NOT think that WE have any lessons to learn from 9/11, except maybe on how WE can make for shit sure that those terrorist that have such "HATRED" for US Americans and America will NEVER get the opportunity to attack America or us Americans ever again!
You know,I am really happy and thank god Penny that your Husband made it out, but so many others DID NOT.
You see Penny, WE were the VICTIMS here, NOT THE TERRORISTS. We as a free people and free country DID NOT, WILL NOT, and WOULD NEVER attack another country or a certain people for their freedom, beliefs, lifestyle or whatever.
I would love to know if all the people who have lost a loved one on 9/11 would agree with you on that....... "We must try to learn something
from it - hatred does not solve anything, it destroys".
Yes, I learned that these and other terrorists HATE US!
My husband, a N.Y.C. Police Officer had the job of looking for suvivors and digging (literally) for the remains of the 3000+ victims on 9/11 so PLEASE, DON"T come on this board preaching your liberal bullsh*t that "WE" must learn something about hatred!
Maybe you should stand up for America and OUR people, for ALL the victims of 9/11 and our soldiers who are fighting against THEIR HATRED FOR US and maybe go to their countries and give THEM lectures about the word HATRED, although they already know that word very well and know how it "destroys".
The ONLY thing we NEED to learn from this is how to NEVER let it happen again and on how to COMPLETELY DETROY THEM!
I said it before...Thank god your husband made it out, but if he did not(like the 3000+), would you still think that way..or maybe would you "hate" them just a drop....for taking your husband away from you and your family???
I am SO sorry,(and excuse my language) but I F*CKING HATE those terrorists, SADDAM, OSAMA, AL-QAEDA and all those who support and are associated with them.
The scars that these bastards left all of us WILL NEVER TRULY HEAL....I guess your more forgiving than me...I guess I should say "Good For You" for being like that...................... NAHHHHHHHHHH, GODD FOR ME FOR FEELING LIKE THIS!
God Bless America, Our Soldiers,
All Americans & the Future Of America!
DD, PROUD wife of a N.Y.C. Police Officer!
Mitch, thanks, you did it again with your word's, your second 9/11 post....unbelievable & outstanding..your words are what my heart feels but sometimes can't get it out,........your reply to her was RIGHT ON!
Mike, you too! Your reply to her was awesome and SO TRUE!

???obviously another "patriot" blinded by their hatred and angst from a scenario that has long been in the making from past administrations hell bent on exporting their own ideals of "democracy". why don't you try going back ,maybe starting with the kennedy administration and the bay pof pigs fiasco. from there continue on through the johnson years and vietnam, not to mention all those little excursions the general press did'nt bother to give much if any coverage of- in africa asia, europe and south america as well as clandestine operations right here in tje u.s. yeah, yeah, i know another god-damned traitor,if ifit's so bad here, why don't i go else where? why 'cause this IS the land of my birth as well as that of my parents and grand-parents and in some cases going back to the 1700's. getting back to my point, this country has exported more terroism and dogma backed with weaponary than you could possibly fathom. you might not be directly responsible for much or any of it, but indirectly you are. do you vote? well then your vote in all liklyhood instilled the politician who through his or her vote enabled some other individul to further their agenda ,and in the last 30 or so years that agenda has been oil.hey! wanna REALLY cripple and anihilate those fuckin' camel jockeys and sand-niggers? GIVE UP YOUR DEPENDANCE ON THEIR BIGGEST EXPORT....OIL!!
otherwise ,just remember-each time you get in your car or truck, YOU helped supply the neccasary financial means by which 9/11 was carried out. remember that the next time you go into a voting booth on election day. most, not all of you people out there who call yourselves "american" hav'nt the slightest comprehesion of what it's really about and probably never will. sad,so sad.... there's only one way that the present situation will ever end- when the supposedly most intelligent life-form on the planet ceases to exist. personally, i anticipate it with a gleaming eye and wry smile.
"He who lives by the sword shall perish by the sword" some radical trouble maker named jesu said that about two thousand years ago. still words to live by- at least for a traitorous believer in the constitution and bill of rights like me. totenvulf

>Holy shit totenvulf, are you f*cking kidding me or what? You represent the worst of humanity. You had a choice to respond to many posts on this board that shared DD's sentiments and you chose to attack a woman with your vile and cowardly diatribe. You are a pussy. You know that, I'm sure. You are such a blatantly anti-American bastard that I would much rather throw you a much deserved beating, than to write you a damn letter. You hate your own country and go to deep lengths to prove it. Well totebag.. I AM a PATRIOT. I LOVE my country. If you gotta problem with that, you can e-mail me and we can meet to work it out. Unlike you, I give my real name and e-mail address. I fear no man, but YOU...hahaha...you are an irrelevant piece of shit, not rating a pimple on a US Marines ass. You post your sickening bullshit under a fake name, with no e-mail address and no ramifications. You are a heathenous lout, a traitor. You deserve no quarter. You rant like a Bush bashing brother to Sean Penn, but you are worse. At least he had the balls to risk his career and reputation spouting his liberal mantra. You guys think WE (America) are murderers and killers, while you show your yellow backside to genocide. I hate what you represent. Now get the hell out of my country!
