Uh....what "exactly" is it that you seem to think "we" must try to learn? I believe I learned ALL I need to know on September 11th, 2001. I suppose there are some that feel the need to sit around the campfire with our enemies and sing Kumbaya, while trying to appease and blame "us" (America) for the brutal attack that killed 3,000 innocents. I'm not one of them. I believe that you seek out evil and destroy it.I am however an openminded guy. Perhaps you could "enlighten" us.

mitch you have hit the nail on the head. some liberals have their heads buried in the 1960's and think the terrorist problem can be solved the same way as the cold war or third world poverty. those days are gone. no regime in the past that has committed genocide was "negotiated or appeased" out of it; the only way to deal with the terrorists is to kill them before they kill us. they are provided support by every arab country. they go under different names but they are all allied in their effort to murder as many non-muslims as they can. the nitpicking over whether there is "smoking gun" evidence linking iraq to al-qaeda is irrelevant. the terrorists intentionally operate under different names so that they won't be identified as al-qaeda or some other group. the names don't matter, they are all united in their effort to kill us.
to the person who wrote that "hatred does not solve anything" - neither does leaving them alone and waiting for their next attack.

Oh yeah...forgot something. Penny, this is a link to a short "movie". Raise the volume and watch it. In fact, all the "Penny's" in america should watch this clip. I'm sure you will "LEARN SOMETHING" from it.

<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://home.comcast.net/~sept11/">http://home.comcast.net/~sept11/</a>

Just do me a favor. After viewing it, please reply to this message and tell us all if you still feel like sitting around the campfire, singing Kumbaya with our enemies while you try your damndest to understand their angst and belittle the country of your birth for being so "arrogant" and inviting the attacks.
Ya know Penny, 9/11 was our generations "Day of Infamy". These bastards (if they couldn't convert you to Islam) would like nothing more than to slit your daughters throat in front of you and dance gleefuly as her arterial blood pulsated from her Carotoid artery until her death. Then, before slowly and painfuly torturing and killing the rest of your family, they would sodomize you and your sons in front of your duct-taped husband. So feel free to let me know what you think we should try to learn. Hey Penny, have a nice day. Remember to turn down NPR and CNN before viewing the movie clip.
