I would love to see more films with asian male romantic leads. There was one I really loved and I can't think of the name now; it took place in an unfinished, and very spooky, converted warehouse, and this very handsome asian actor begins a romance with his neighbor. I thought it was called the Third Floor, but I can't find it on the web. I always wished that actor had become better known.
There is always Echos Of Paradise, a low budget Aussie romance between a Bali dancer (John Lone)and a white, unhapily married woman. But there is mention in the film how the white women look on the asian men as beautiful ornaments, or some such adjective.
I would like to see a serious asian character, not a bauble of fascination, but a multi-dimensional AS WELL AS, sensual character.
